Gabrielle's Lesson

Gabrielle jumped up into the air and attempted a flip. The attempt failed and Gabrielle fell flat on her back. Gabrielle moaned and got back on her feet. "Ouch."
"No!No!No! Gabrielle. Pay more attention next time," Xena complained. "Let me show you how to do it again." Xena prepared for the flip, making sure her feet and knees were in their proper position. Then she leaped up into the air and flipped. Xena landed perfectly back on the ground.
Everytime Xena flipped, she looked like she was flying. It must have felt like flying to her. Gabrielle wished she could do that one day. She asked Xena to teach her a few days ago, but she still hasn't learned a thing. Every attempt she made, she either landed on her back, flat on the face, or on her butt. Cuts and bruises tattooed her body. But Gabrielle told herself she would learn this. Then maybe next time Xena could teach her "the pinch".
"Xena isn't there an easier way of doing this?" Gabrielle whined.
"Gabrielle, this is the easiest way... You know what? How about I teach you something else today?"
Gabrielle focused all her attention on Xena. Could this be the moment she was waiting for? Would Xena finally teach her the pinch? She could only hope.
"Today I will teach you how to talk like a Warrior Princess."
Gabrielle just stared at her. One of her eyebrows shot up. And the hope inside her died. "What.."
"Now repeat after me," Xena instructed. "KILL 'EM ALL!!!"
"Sure Xena..." Gabrielle took a deep breath. "Ummm... kill them all..."
"No Gabrielle, put a little more feeling into it!" Xena scolded.
"K-k-kill 'em all?"
"That's it! Now just say it like you mean it. Go ahead Gabrielle. You can do it! KILL 'EM ALL!!!."
"KILL 'EM ALL!!! YEA!!! KILL 'EM ALL!!!" Gabrielle screamed.
"Yea... you can stop now Gabrielle."
"What' next?"
"The famous Xena Battle Cry! Ayiyiyiyiyiyiyiyiyi yee-ah. Now it's your turn"
"Are you serious..." Gabrielle muttered. This was going to be a long day.
