Light and L were doing the research on who could possibly be Kira. Of course L still thought Light was Kira, so they were handcuffed together. Light was okay with them being handcuffed together all the time. When Misa wanted to go on dates, Light had someone to talk to who didn't have the intellegents of a toaster. Misa decided to have a pinic date with Light (and L too), and tried to convice L for hours to take off the chains for their date. L refused each time, no matter how much she pleaded and begged. She eventually agreed to it, because she really wanted that date with Light. They went to the closest park, and Misa had packed sandwiches, salads, and juice for her and Light. She did pack sweets for L, because she may not show it but she cares, at least a little bit. They were all having a pretty decent time, and by they I mean Misa. She was holding Light's hand and kissing him, and he wasn't having any of it. He hadn't the hand to L's not Misa's, he wanted it to be L kissing him not Misa. Light has a crush on L and has for a long time, and he didn't know it but L had a crush on him too.
"I'll be right back, I have to the little girls room. Don't miss me too much." Misa said before she went to the nearest hotel.
"Now, she is gone." Light sighed smiling.
"Yeah, she is. Why are you happy about that? I thought you two were dating and happy together." questioned L.
"She says we are, but I like someone else." answered Light.
"Who?" asked L, looking at Light with curious eyes. Light blushed when L asked, because he wasn't sure if he wanted him to know.
Misa just came back smiling. "I'm back, did you miss me?"
Light rolled his eyes and asked "Misa can this date be done, I have work to do?"
"But Light." Misa whined. Light looked at her annoyed, and she mumbled "fine."
Light smiled and looked at L "I guess we better get going then." L nodded and called Watari to come and get them from the park. A few minutes later Watari arrived, and drove Light and L home.
"So Light, who is it you like?" L's eyes were wide with curiousity.
Light was blushing once again, and looked away from L. L looked at Light with curiousity in his eyes still. "You really want to know?" Light asked mumbling.
L nodded smiling "Yes, I do want to know."
Light turned towards L, cupped the side of his face and kissed him. L was surprised at first but started kissing back. L brought his hands up to Light's head, and ran his fingers through Light's hair. Light's hands rested at L's waist, pulling him closer.
Soon, the car stopped moving, and broke away not only to go inside, but because they needed air. Light smiled "maybe we should contuine this in the room."
"This is the one time I will allow you to take off your chains." L whispered suggestivily in Light's ear. Light blushed and nodded.
They both got out of the car and headed upstairs to their room. When they got into their room L went to go and unlock the chains, and as soon as they were off Light pressed L against the wall and started kissing him. L ran his fingers through Light's hair, Light's hands wrapped around L's waist. Light's licked L's bottom lip asking for entrence which L happily granted. Light and L battled for domaince which Light won, and he ran his hands up L's shirt, making L moan. L wrapped his legs around Light's waist and Light carried him to the bed and set him down. Light whispered lustfully in L's ear "this should be a fun night. Let's see if you can walk in the morning."
