404: Pokémon Not Found

Paul is frustrated because his Pokémon he deposits in the GTS for the giveaway continues to get sniped. A little advice from his sweetheart proves to be the key to actually getting the exact Pokémon he's looking for. (Based on a real life experience and those 404 File Not Found messages you see on your computer every now and then)

"Aw come on! This is the fifth time this week my Pokémon got sniped!" Paul griped as he deposited a sixth Pokémon into the GTS.

"Babe, what's wrong? ¿Qué pasa?" Ash asked looking his lover in the eyes.

"I keep depositing a Pokémon into the GTS for this GTS Giveaway I saw on Facebook but I keep getting sniped! Already, this is the sixth Pokémon I've deposited! I only hope this one doesn't get sniped!" Paul said as he complained and griped to Ash about this recurring problem.

"Babe, I see the problem. Try to calm down. If you do that, you might not get the 404 message." Ash replied as he began looking at his lover endearingly.

"Wait, Ash. What 404 message?" Paul asked as he looked at Ash confusedly.

"You know that 404 File Not Found error message that comes up on our computer?" Ash asked looking at his lover.

"Yeah, what about it?" Paul replied realizing he wasn't following Ash's hints.

"Sometimes the GTS will give a similar 404 message." Ash replied.

"Yeah? What's the 404 message?" Paul asked as he slowly realized what Ash was referring to.

"404 Pokémon Not Found." Ash replied as he finally made Paul smile.

"Oh! Now I see what you're talking about! That 404 message!" Paul said as he slapped his palm to his face, cursing himself for not realizing what Ash was talking about sooner.

"Yep, now you got it!" Ash cheered his lover on.

"Arceus, YES! Finally got the Pokémon I was looking for!" Paul cheered as he whooped and hollered.

"See, that's the key. Keep calm and carry on." Ash said as he looked his cheerful lover in the eye.

"Thanks Ash. Without your advice, babe, I never would've succeeded in my goal." Paul said, kissing his lover's cheek.

"No problem, babe. I'm always happy to help you out." Ash replied.

Author's Note: This story was actually based on something that happened to me in real life. I thought about the title a lot before coming up with joke based on those 404 File Not Found error messages you sometimes see. That's where the title 404 Pokémon Not Found was coined.
