If You Dare Challenge: 410. Thunder
The dragon let out a mighty roar, its stomping akin to thunder that shook the ground. It strained against the chains that held its feet tight, flapping its wings.
It raised its head to the sky, gazing at it with longing eyes. The only barrier between it and the sky was the chains.
The dragon shook its head and roared again, fire spewing from its mouth. It bent down and tried to bite the chains. The cold iron stung its tongue.
The dragon raked its claws across the stone floor, drawing a shrill squeak. Again, it tried to struggle out of the chains, but it failed.
It roared, raising its legs, and swung its spiked tail. It flapped its wings in a desperate dream to be able to fly once more, to feel the wind rushing under its wings, to be surrounded by the blue of the sky.
The dragon opened its jaws, emitting another boom of thunder. It raised its head and let out a keening wail of anger.
Oh, yes, the dragon was angry.
