The lights flash twice signaling to all that they need to take their seats. Alicia rushes in at the last minute and slides into the seat next to her husband. She kisses him hello and murmurs "this stuff was so much easier when I wasn't working. Did you get a program?"
"she's in the third group."
As the music started a line of small girls dressed as gumdrops entered the stage, followed by a group of chocolate chip cookies and finally a line of cupcakes. Alicia takes one look at the stage and laughs. Will notices immediately and joins his wife in a fit of laughter.
Who knew that one night brought on by cupcakes and wine would lead to them watching their little girl dance onstage as a cupcake.
