This is an unofficial novel (fanfiction) of the highly acclaimed game of the same name but falls in the same line as the official novels.

⟪ Author's Notice ⟫

I was introduced to this bloody mess of God of War when I was merely eight years old and ever since then, this franchise has become one of my all-time favourites, likely on the top of the list. Besides the latest instalment Ascension, I have played all the other games but that is because I never got to interact with PS3.

It was around last year when I played God of War 3 on PS4 when I suddenly realised, why not novelise this series? And I started it, starting with God of War 3. Back then, I was literally new to writing and did not know how I am supposed to novelise a game and while I did a decent job, even writing it the same way the official novels have been written, I wasn't satisfied and dropped it for a while.

It was then I realised that there exist two official novels retelling the story of GoW 1 and GoW 2 but in depth. I bought them recently and have already read the second instalment. That fading spark once ignited and I decided to continue that project—this time with two games (GoW 1 and 2) out of the list for the obvious reason i.e., they have already been novelised and officially as a matter of fact.

I decided to write Chains of Olympus because it is the shortest(?) game in the franchise and will likely consume less time. I already have tons of other stories yet to write for other fandoms so I would like to keep as less on the plate as possible for me.

With that being said, I would greatly appreciate it if you add it to the favourite and follow list and review it. Criticism is accepted as well but please keep in mind that this story is based on the official novels and would flow in the same way as them.
