The Adventures of Liona
Chapter 1
As Liona walks through the corridor she hears chatter coming from the kitchen. Its her mom and she sounds sorta sad but its like shes trying to hide it. "But who is she talking to", Liona wonders as she approaches the kitchen.
There she sees her mom on the phone with tears in her eyes. She looks up and asks "Whats wrong mom".
Her mom says "hold on" and puts the phone down.
" Oh nothing sweet heart mommy just has a lot on her mind right now. I will be fine just go back to your room ok".
" Ok", Liona replies as she walks out the room.
She stop at the door way, " And mom if theres anything u need I'm always there for u".
" I know honey thank you. Run along now", Her mom says as she breaks a smile.
" Ok mom", Liona says smiling back and walking out the kitchen
She walks out the kitchen in very deep concern of her mother. Her mother and her are very close and she feels like her mom isn't telling her everything. "I wonder why mom is so sad. ", Liona mutters to herself.
She tiptoes back to the kitchen and tries to stay out of sight. She can hear her mom talking on the phone," who is she talking to", she whispers to herself as she tries to listen closer. " NO! you cant be doing this. Its all I have, and I don't what I can do without it."
Liona can hear the distress and sorrow in her moms voice. She heads back to her room unable to bear her moms crying.
" I hate seeing my mom cry. Who is making sad, and why are they?", She thinks and she starts to tear. As she walks back up through the corridor and all she can think about is how her mom feels. " Maybe I'll talk to her again later. Maybe then she will tell me more." She begins to open the door and head straight to her closet. There she enters the world of Faerlem.
