Turkey Day!!

"Damn!" Kurama growled from the kitchen. "The turkey is burnt! I don't have time to get another one!" Kurama growled. Kurama turned to Hiei. "I need you to go get me a turkey. A Big one." Kurama added.

"Hn." Hiei said, then left. Where to get a turkey? Hiei asked himself. The woods! Hiei walked to the woods and started to look for a turkey. He had no idea what he was doing. Suddenly a turkey fell from the trees and landed a few feet a head of him.

It was a big tom. Feathers spread, it was puffed up to look bigger than it really was. Hiei knew what it was trying to do, it was trying to scare him off.

The tom charged and Hiei and then Hiei turned on his heel and ran in the other direction. It was intimidating after all. The tom chased Hiei all over the place.

"DEMON TURKEY!" Hiei yelled as he ran away, Hiei turned a corner, then jumped into a near by tree. Hiei saw the turkey run by, he turned around in the tree and came face to face with 15 other toms. "Shit..." Hiei muttered.

They spread their feathers, and puffed up. All were getting ready to kill Hiei. Without another thought Hiei jumped out of the tree and started running away, the toms hot on his trail. No matter what Hiei did, he just couldn't loose the toms.

People watched as Hiei ran away from the 15 toms. Quickly Hiei turned down an alley, he was hoping it wasn't a dead end. Unfortunatly, it was.

To make it even worse the first tom that Hiei had encountered was there, glaring at Hiei, feathers still spread, and it was still puffed up. He turned around to leave the alley, but the other 15 toms where there. Looking back and forth Hiei saw no way out, besides up.

Just as Hiei was about to jump all the toms charged at Hiei, then started pecking him. "Ah! Damn! Stop! Turkey! Stop! I HATE YOU!!!!" Hiei screamed as loud as he could, people walking by the alley didn't even look at the commotion, it was almost like it happened every day.

Slowly Hiei trudged through the door to Kurama's kitchen. Kurama turned around with a smile on his face, about to tell Hiei the good news when he saw the sad state that Hiei was in.

"I got...your stupid...turkey..." Hiei muttered, he held up 16 just-killed tukeys.

"Uh..." Kurama said, wondering how to put this. "I don't need them." Kurama said, flat out stating the truth.

"What?" Hiei asked as he dropped the turkeys.

"I found another one that my mom had bought and I didn't know about it, I didn't know where you had gone so I couldn't tell you. And didn't you know that I meant a turkey from the store?" Kurama asked.

Hiei looked at Kurama, then at the turkeys, then back to Kurama. Hiei fell backwards and hit the floor this a loud 'thud!'.

"I hate...turkeys..." Hiei muttered, then passed out. Kurama walked over to Hiei and smiled to himself. A couple hours later Hiei woke up, there was an unfamilar weight on his body. Hiei looked at his arm, it had wing on it. "What the hell?" Hiei asked.

"Well you were passed out, I noticed that this costume fit you perfectly, and since I knew how much you LOVED turkeys I thought you should wear it...outside the superstore." Kurama added with a snicker.

"KURAMA!" Hiei growled, then tried to lunge at his friend, Kurama just laughed and ran home. Hiei was chained to a post outside the superstore.

Being left alone, in front of the superstore, in a turkey costume gave a whole new meaning to Thanksgiving. One that Hiei would DESPISE for the rest of his life.
