"Percy what in the name of Zeus are you doing?"
"What does it look like I'm doing wise girl?" He responds with a lopsided grin that makes my heart jump.
"Yes but why or better yet what are you running from?" I ask.
"Gods it's a terrible monster when angered even Zeus cowers before it," he exclaims with a dramatic air about him.
"Prissy where are you?" I hear an angry Clarisse yell.
I roll my eyes "Percy were you referring to Clarisse?"
He nods his head with a terrified yet amused expression.
"What did you do now?"
"Well you know how the Stoll's stole ice-cream from the store?" I nod my head and he continues. "Well I guess they owed Clarisse beacuse when I got there they were sold out except for one but they said it was for Clarisse."
"Okay Seaweed Brain but then why is Clarisse mad at you?" I ask even though I'm pretty sure I know what happened.
"Well I really wanted that ice-cream so I kind of offered the Stoll's twice their price for it and they said yeah so Clarisse doesn't have any ice-cream now and well she's pissed!"
I lightly hit his arm for saying pissed but I'm laughing anyways beacuse they are sixteen but they are fighting over ice-cream.
he smiles nervously. "Well Wise Girl help me!"
"Fine, follow me," I interlock our fingers and pull him into the forest we walk until we find a spot by the beach that is camouflaged by bushes. We sit down and I lean my head against his shoulder.
"Percy why did you want the ice-cream so bad?"
I look up at him and detect a blush on his cheeks.
"Well I wanted to get ice-cream for our date tonight I thought it would be special."
I laugh and then lean in to kiss him the kiss is short but sweet.
"You are such a seaweed brain."
