Exchange Student: Friend or Foe?

"Fillmore in my office now!" shouted Vallejo.
"What is it? I have paper to file with Ingred and...Disco!"said Fillmore when he entered the room, he noticed a redhaired pretty girl sitting on a small stool in the corner. She had green eyes like Ingred but they were more deep yet bright at the same time. It was amazing.
"Fillmore meet Alex Cornwall she moved here from Miami a couple weeks ago. Back at her old school she was a safety patroller. A lab rat and a field mouse" (A/N A lab rat is someone who processes fingerprints and Photos and a fieldmouse is someone who gathers evidence and gets the suspect. just for those of you who don't know what it means.)
"Er...nice to meet you Alex I'm Fillmore." said Fillmore shaking her hand.
"Nice to meet you too Fillmore"she answered back. Fillmore looked at her clothing when she stood up. She was wearing a school uniform which probably meant that she went to a boarding school. Her outfit consisted of a button us shirt with a green and silver tie, she had rolled up the sleeves to just above her elbows, and a plain black skirt with those things that fold over them (like in Harry Potter the Slytherin uniforms but without a robe), her shirt was untucked and just a little rickled which gave off this essence of cool for some reason.
"She will be yours and Ingreds new partner. Now take her with you and go tell Third." said Vallejo.
Fillmore led Alex out of the room. He desperitly tried to make small talk with her just so he could get a little of imformation on what she would be like to work with.
"So is Alex your full name or did you just shorten to that?"asked Fillmore pollitly. He thought that maybe if she shortened it she would be easy going not strict and keep her name long.
"Ya I shortened it from Alexandrite. Wierd name huh?" she replied smilling."My parents named me after the stone since it was the stone on my mothers wedding ring"
"Ya but not as wierd as Cornelias Fillmore"
"It is so wierder, try being in science class studying different kinds of stones and the teacher keeps coming up with your name over and over saying that its rare and bla bla bla bla bla"
"Well try having my name said over speakers for the whole school to hear. And I can't shorten it like you or it would be corn."
"Your right your name is worse"laughed Alex as they got to Ingreds desk.
"Hey Fillmore, whos this?" asked Ingred finishing some paper work and looking at Alex.
"Oh this is Alex Cornwall she just moved here from Miami. She was on the safety patrol at her old school. So she joined up here and now she's our new partner."Fillmore explained.
"Welcome aboard. My names Ingred Third and its nice to meet you Alex" greeted Ingred shaking Alex's hand.
Vallejo had already set up a empty desk for Alex beside Ingred. Alex, had be holding a box under her arm went and set up some pictures and writing suppleys along with an old type writer and a lime green labtop.
"Wow your sure ready for the office."said Ingred surprised that she came so well prepared. But then again she used to be a safety partoller back at her old school so she probably knows what she needed thought Ingred very impressed, I think we'll get along just fine.
"Third, Fillmore, Alex I have a case for you."said Vallejo.
A/N: A cliff hanger I know but right as I'm righting this its like 11 oclock a night I need to sleep. And I don't have any idea for a case so review or email any ideas for cases plz.
