"So…" Harry began as he, Ron and Hermione sat in the chair of the empty Griffindor Common room. "It's Christmas Break and everyone has left us all alone."
"Yea, Harry." Ron cut in not liking the sounds of the squeaky pipes behind the walls. "It gets creepy around here."

"Well, it's only you who gets crept out around here." Hermione sat up straighter in her chair, pulling her wand out of her robe. "I on the other hand like the quite. Harry, do you like the quite as well?"

"Not really. I usually turn on the tube when my Aunt and Uncle are gone."

"Brilliant." Ron muttered, an idea coming to him. "Just brilliant, why don't we watch a movie?"

Hermione let out a long sigh while Harry jumped on the idea. "Great Idea. I just got this movie from the library I wanted to try out."

"Cool, harry. Put it in." Ron sat back on the red couch and tried to smile.

"All right. Accio Movie." Harry said and a second later the DVD Case came flying into this hands. He got out his chair and went over the the tube and slid the disk in the player. "Now, I heard this movie was really good." Harry flicked his wand and the movie began, skipping the ads, menu and credits. (Oh the wonders of magic never fail to make life easier.)

"Wow…" Ron muttered a few minutes into the film, "its kinda sad that the girl he likes never pays any attention to him."

"What if she doesn't like him?" Hermione suggested, wanting to jinx Ron's mouth so he'd only babble.

"Shh!" Harry snapped, wanting to watch the movie without commentary. "We're missing the tour-"

"AHHH!" Ron screamed as the tour-guide on the television led the group into a room full of, "SPIDERS! Harry!"

"Shut up, Ron, it's Spiderman and I want to watch!"

"Why don't you three shut up for once?"

Harry, Ron and Hermione glanced over to see the entire Griffindor house in their nighties, looking very cross.

"You woke us up." George complained.

"Yea," Said Fred, "We were just starting to dream of sugar plums. Even though it's only the third of December."

"But since…." Neville began, noting the scene on the television screen, "You're all watching Spiderman… we'll stay up and watch it with you."
After a chorus of cheers, the every Griffindor sat down and Harry turned the television back on. It was a good night after all.

(Except they had to watch all three and they had a potion test the next day…but that is another story.)
