Sorry this one's so short, I was having trouble thinking of a good way to end this, and I'm exhausted. Please review to tell me what I should change.

Alec grinned nervously. He had a date with his boyfriend, Magnus Bane. Magnus, he knew, would not be nervous, but would be hoping there was no demon attack. That was a frequent when they were on a date.

Alec waited in the living room of the loft for Magnus to come out of his walk-in closet. When he did, it took Alec's breath away. Magnus wasn't wearing anything to bright and fancy, but had a more subtle look tonight. Alec smiled, and Magnus's eyes followed Alec's.

"You look good tonight." Magnus murmured, his voice silky smooth. Alec smiled, familiar with this conversation. It varied in words, but Magnus never skipped it.

"As do you." Alec picked up a seraph blade, and tucked into his tuxedo. Magnus rolled his eyes, grinning, but left Alec alone about it. When they walked out, the air was warm on Alec's face, and Magnus flicked a finger. A spark of blue light, and Magnus's jacket disappeared.

Alec pulled off his tuxedo jacket, and Magnus breathed in, his eyes widening. Alec didn't notice, but instead started to pull Magnus towards to restaurant he had reserved.

"I feel like this is the one." Magnus murmured in Alec's ear, probably talking about other failed dates. Alec grinned, and turned his head to meet his boyfriend's mouth. Magnus's mouth curved beneath Alec's, making Alec shiver.

Finally, Alec noticed the time, and he broke away. "Come on, Magnus, we have to go." And He pulled his jacket back on. Magnus watched sadly. But when they walked in, Magnus's favorite Indonesian melody was playing, and the smells Magnus associated with home, or Indonisia. Magnus looked over at Alec, who was grinning at him. "You like it?" He whispered softly. Magnus's breath caught.

"Yes, Alec, yes." And he kissed him, gently at first, but slowly got more urgent. Alec led Magnus to a table, where a waiter brought water and wine. Magnus didn't look at a menu, he just ordered his favorite Indonesian dish, and it was brought out immediately. Alec ordered the same, and just minutes later, they both had food. Magnus showed Alec how to eat it, and Alec carefully copied him. After dinner, the waiters brought out dessert, Klepon, sweet coconut rice balls, Magnus's favorite. "How did you know?" Magnus asked, incredulous.

"You sometimes talk in your sleep."Alec mumbled, embarrassed. Magnus laughed, and Alec flushed. He felt Magnus's hand on his cheek, and Alec looked up to see Magnus's golden green cat eyes, shimmering happily.

"Oh, Alexander. I love it. Look at me. Alec. Look at me." Alec wouldn't meet Magnus's eyes, and Magnus didn't know why. So he put his hand under Alec's chin, and lifted his head. "Alec, I will never, ever leave you. I don't even know why I need to say this. I love you, and there is nothing, not even you listening to my sleep talk, that can make me leave you. Understand?"

Alec nodded. Then Magnus kissed him hard, making Alec blush again. The night ended with the best thing Alec had ever tasted (Either Magnus's mouth, or the Klepon, Alec couldn't decide which).
