Fox: I'll go alone from here.
Peppy: Fox! Wait!
Fox's ship charged in the vertical tunnel leading to Andross, letting Peppy and Slippy behind. The lord would pay for his father's death. He could hear the lord laughing while approaching his lair. As the last door opened, Fox saw Andross's enormous shadow. He gasped. He never thought that he would be that big. Peppy was right when he said "He's bigger than you can ever imagine".
"Pull yourself together, Fox!" He said to himself as he started looking for a weak point.
He shooted some lasers everywhere he could to find a specific reaction. That's exactly when he hit his hands that Andross winced. The pilot restarted shooting. If he continued like this, he could win! Once the first hand has been destroyed, the lord tried to inhale the ship. While Fox was concentrated on his huge mouth, the lord took the airwing with his second hand and began crushing it. Fox restarted to shoot and tried to boost hoping that the lord would let him go but nothing happened. Andross continued crushing until his enemy started screaming. A part of the ship shattered and perforated Fox's shoulder and a part of his back. Another part shattered, trapping his head and his second arm. He felt like his head was going to explode. He moaned before losing consciousness.
Falco started shaking. He didn't know why. Something was just not right. He stood up from his bench and ran to the docking bay. The ship was still in repairs, but he had to go. He climbed into the airwing and flew off letting ROB64 stunned behind.
"Falco here, can you hear me?" He said in the G-diffuser.
Peppy: This is Peppy, I can hear you.
Slippy: Slippy here, I can. Everything's okay?
Falco: Yeah, yeah I'm fine. Where's Fox?
Peppy: He's fighting Andross...
Falco: You let him go alone?
Slippy: That's what he wanted...
Falco: You should've followed him! Who knows what's happening right now? How long it's been since he entered?
Peppy: Maybe, twenty minutes.
Falco: It's too long; we've got to find a way to enter.
Slippy: Let's blow up the door.
Peppy: No, It would destroy the entire tunnel.
Slippy: So what can we do? Only Andross can open it.
Falco: We'll have to persuade him. I've got an idea, but we'll have to find star wolf.
Peppy: How could they help?
Falco: I'm sure Andrew can communicate with his uncle. Everybody on Great Fox!
The rest of the team left Venom to go in the great fox. As soon as they entered in the docking bay, Falco ran to ROB64.
"Could you search for any signal from star wolf team?"
The robot nodded before going to the central computer. The pilot turned to Slippy.
"Slippy, could you add something on the airwing?"
"Yes, what is it?" The toad answered.
"You know about grappling hooks, don't you?"
"Huh, yeah, but why would you need that on an airwing?"
"I'll explain later."
ROB64 entered in the docking bay.
"Signal of Star wolf from Fichina."
Falco nodded and turned back to Slippy.
"Ok, Slippy here's my plan..."
This wasn't the best chapter, I know. Action will come next. Every epic story needs a beginning, no? :p
