I saw as the two vampires trapped Sam. I saw Sam fight as hard as he could against them, while I starred at him helplessly, trying to fight against the vampire pinning me against the hard stone wall.
"Sammy!" I yell, eyes wide with terror.
I watched as the vampire dove into Sam's neck. "Dean!" Sam yells back.
"Sam!" I yelled again, trying to get the vampire off me. Then, I see the vampire on Sam's neck jerk back. Blood starts gushing out of Sam's neck.
I fight hard, with all my might. Finally getting the vampire off me. I look over at Sam just as the vampire, that I just got off me, jumped on my back. I saw the other vampires with Sam start to pull him away and into a cave. No!
I saw Castiel run after him while yelling, "Sam!" I finally get rid of the vampire. Dead.
I hear Maggie scream. I turned around and shot the vampire in the head. Dead.
I heard Cass yell, "Sam!" I run towards the cave Sam was just taken into while yelling, "Sammy!"
Case meets me while I was running to the cave. "Sam? What?" He stops me.
"He's gone."
It takes me a moment to process what he said. "No!" I yell. I run past him, trying to get to my brother. The brother that needed me. The brother that needed my help.
Cass says, "Dean" and reaches for me as I run and pulls me back. "We don't have time."
I stand there, gasping. Looking into the cage where they just took my little brother. Don't have time?! That is Sam! We make time because that is what Sam deserves!
"Dean, we can't save him."
I stand there, but don't quite believe it. Sam's not gone. He can't be.

The next thing I know, I am out of the cave. Walking towards that camp where mom and Jack should be. I keep thinking back to what happened. I should be with Sam. Why'd I leave? Why did I leave my brother, who needed me? I know Sam would've wanted me to leave. To get mom and Jack back, but I don't care about that right not. I needed my brother. That's the only person I needed, but now he is not here. I knew that this was dangerous, but I let him get away from me. I should have protected him more.
Then Sam's words pop into my head, "And if we die, we'll do that together, too."
So much for that. I'm so sorry, Sammy. So sorry. We were supposed to go together. Together! My heart clenches.
Then, the Maggie girl called out to me, "Dean?" I slow slightly and turn back to look at her. "Um, about your friend…" I give her a look and she immediately stops talking. I walk away from her. I don't need to hear anything from her. She doesn't know anything. None of them do. They don't know Sam like me. They don't understand. I just left him! How could I do that to him?

Soon we're close to the camp. Gabriel gets rid of the warding and people come rushing out.
"Woah," Castiel says. "Were just looking for…" He trailed off. Mom came out. "Mary."
"Casitel." She says. She continues to look until her eyes land on me.
We slowly walk up to each other. "How did you even find us?" She said as we gave each other a hug. I can feel my mask slowly breaking. She doesn't know. She doesn't know about Sam. How am I supposed to tell her?
She pulls back and looks at me. She keeps smiling, so she must not see the look on my face. "Dean? Where's Sam?" She asked.
How do I tell her? I feel a tear fall from my eyes. Then another slide down my face. I look away from her, then look back. We stare at each other for a while and realization comes across her face.
Sam.

Soon, we are all walking back into the camp. I am over at some house getting my stuff ready. I did it. I found mom and Jack. I got that Maggie girl at the camp. Case and Gabriel were also at the camp. I'm done. It was time to go see Sam again.
I fill my cup with water. "We have to go back." I say to mom. I sling the backpack on my shoulder. "Get his body."
I can see mom's worried eyes on me. I can hear her following me. I can't seem to care that she is worried, though. Sam is the only one that mattered.
Just then, I hear the bell ring. I look around, confused, but keep walking. It continues ringing, and I stop. I look to see who is coming through. I stare, focused. I almost couldn't believe my eyes.
I saw Sam. My little brother who just got his neck ripped open. The one who should still be stuck in that cage, but he's here. With me. Where he belongs.
I see the blood on his neck. So much blood. Too much blood for my liking. It needs to go.
Sam then locks eyes with me and he smiles slightly. I wanted to hug him then and there. Never let him out of my sight again, but then, Lucifer walks through, smiling as happy as can be. I tilt my head. Sam must notice everyones shocked looked as Lucifer walks in.
His smile fades. He lowers his head down, so he wasn't looking at anyone. Not even me. He closes his eyes. I can see the shame on his face. For bringing Lucifer to the camp where people are supposed to be safe. I can feel his guilt from here. The dots start to connect.
Lucifer brought Sam back.

Everyone just stands there for a second. Starring and Lucifer and Sam. I can see Sam start to shift uncomfortably with all the attention on him. I was the one to make the first move.
I walk over to Sam. Sam's eyes meets my eyes again. I can tell that he is trying to tell me something. Something important, but I can't worry about that right now. I want to get my brother away from everyone, to check him over, but I can't yet. We need to talk. And not in front of everyone staring at us. "We all need to talk." I say, looking around at Mom, Cass, Jack, and Gabriel.
I grab Sam by the elbow and start pulling behind some building, away from everyone's eyes. Mom, Cass, Gabriel, Jack, and Lucifer followed. I see a stump near by and sit Sam down on it. "Dean." He protest, but I ignore him.
I wipe my hand on his neck where he was bit, making sure that he was fine. No bleeding. Just dried up blood. Making sure that he was, in fact, in one piece.
"Dean, I'm fine." Sam says.
"I'll be the judge of that, Sam."
"C'mon, Dean. Let's get to the chase." Lucifer cut in. "Sammy's fine, you can trust him. I know because I was the one actually there for him and brought him back. You're welcome, by the way." Lucifer smiles.
"Shut up." I say. "No one is taking to you. This is between us. Not you. We decide what happens to you. Not the other way around."
"You should be careful what you say to me, Dean. I was the one the brought your brother back. I could be the one to take him away also. I could snap my fingers and put him right back in the cave with all those hungry, hungry vampires. You don't want that do you?" He said and I put my hand on Sam's shoulder as if to make sure he won't disappear. "Or do you want that since you were the one to ditch him? Aww, does Deanie not care about his baby brother anymore?" I said with his lip pocked out.
My eyes widen a little. That's not true. I know it's not, but what if Sam thinks that. I mean, he has a right to. I did ditch him in that cave. Sam must hate me.
I turn to look back at Sam. I stare at him for a minute. I look over him, just to double check that he really is okay, before I walk away.
As I walk away, I hear Lucifer say, "Was it something I said?"
I heard someone start rushing towards me. Soon they catch up to me and they grab me on my shoulder. I'm about to yank my arm back when I hear, "Dean, hey."
Sam.
A pause. "Hey." I said quietly and look down. Sam's hand leaves my shoulder.
"Can I talk to you for a minute?" He asked.
"Yeah, uh, sure." We walk to stand on one of the porches.
Sam doesn't start of talking. He freezes.
"Sam?" I asked confused.
"Look, Dean, I'm sorry." He said and looked me in the eye. He looked desperate. "I never meant to put this on you. I already know that your under enough pressure, but he made it very clear that he was going to come to this camp with or without me so… I thought…" He trailed off. "Look I know your not happy with this-"
I cut him off. "What?" I asked incredulously. "You're sorry?"
Sam's eyes widen and he starts to panic. He must have mistaken the incredulous and thought it was anger. "Look, Dean-"
"Sam, stop." Sam freezes and looks down at his hands. "Sam, do you honestly think I am mad at you for being alive?"
Sam doesn't answer.
"Sam, how could you think that I'm mad at you. If anything, you should be mad at me?"
That causes Sam to look up. "Mad at you?"
"Yes, Sam! I ditched you! I abandoned you! I left you there while I go everyone else to camp."
"Dean, I wanted you to do that."
"That's not the point, Sam. I should've never left you. I should have protected you. The freaking devil saved you when I couldn't. What kind of big brother does that make me?"
"Dean, your the best brother I could ask for."
I roll my eyes.
"I'm serious, Dean. Is this about what Lucifer said? Dean, don't let him get in your head. I know what you had to do. Dean, I know you still care about me. He is full of lies. Dean you've done everything to help save me. You've sacrificed yourself more than I can count. I am not mad at you, okay?"
I nod my head, but I still feel guilty.
"Dean, it's alright. We are still together." Sam states.
"That's all we need, Sammy. To be together." Sam nods in agreement.
