AN: This is just a thought I had about Annie and Finnick. The pairing is so sweet to me and I had to try writing it. Thanks for reading!

The bright sun shone over District 4, reflecting on the giant waters surrounding the district. Finnick, his bronzed skin glinting and wet, pulls away from the water and into the sand. His trident is at his side, two fish speared on the two end tips. He's using his old one for our dinner tonight, he prefers the classic style to the shiny one he'd received from the capital, it's four points born for murder, not fishing.

My worldly Poseidon; my Finnick, his strong silhouette in the shadow of the beach, keeps me here, keeps me on the ground.

"Miss Cresta." He gives me his Finnick smile, creases forming at the corners of his mouth, a small twitch of his lips, and eyes staring into mine.

"It's getting dark. Should we go in soon?"

"A little longer, love. I want to see you under the stars." He touches my nose and lays on his back, pulling me along.
