Remus had a headache. Between being a werewolf, wizard and a demigod, life could get very confusing. That morning Remus had gotten an Iris message from Annabeth saying he was needed for the war. It was all too confusing.

It was hard enough to keep the werewolf secret from the rest of the Marauders, but the demigod secret was even harder to keep, especially since even Dumbledore didn't know about it. God blood wasn't accepted in the wizard world, but then again neither was being a werewolf.

"Moony! Can you hear me?!" A concerned James Potter waved his hand in front of Remus' glazed eyes. "Yes I can." Snapped Remus, annoyed from being pulled out from his train of thought.

"Whoa, Moony." Said Sirius. "What's biting you?" Remus winced, Sirius must have noticed him fingering his werewolf bite, because he said, "Oh, sorry Moony." ."It's OK." Remus sighed. 'How could I ever tell them that I've been telling lies?'

"I can't believe next year's our sixth year at Hogwarts." Peter said sadly as they got in bed. "I know." James yawned, "It feels like we were on the first train ride to Hogwarts yesterday. I'll miss everything here." Sirius snorted; "More like you'll miss staring at Miss Evans and annoying Minnie" Only Remus was silent.

James, Sirius, and Peter woke up to find Remus' bed made with a folded piece of paper, and a gold coin on top of the sheets. On the paper, in clear print it read:

'TO: PADFOOT, PRONGS, AND WORMTAIL'

"What do you think it is?" James shrugged and opened it.

'I HAVE GONE SOMEWHERE YOU MUST NOT FOLLOW ME TO. IF I DON'T COME BACK WITHIN' A MONTH, I AM DEAD. IF YOU ARE IN DESPERATE NEED TO CONTACT ME: FIND A RAINBOW, THROW THE COIN IN AND SAY:

O' IRIS GODDESS OF THE RAINBOW PLEASE ACCEPT MY OFFERING,

AND IF THE COIN DISSAPEARS SAY,

REMUS LUPIN, LONG ISLAND, NEW YORK.

REMEMBER, THE COIN CAN ONLY BE USED ONCE.

"Why on earth would he be in New York?"

"A rainbow? Toss the coin through it?"

"Has he finally cracked?"

They suspected a prank was going on, but Remus didn't show up the rest of the week. Once in a while someone would ask about him, but no one knew where he was. By the end of two weeks, everyone in the school knew that Remus Lupin was missing.

The Marauders were told to go into Dumbledore's office the next morning. "Do you have any idea of where Remus is?" he asked. "Yes sir. Long Island, New York. He left us a note.". "And is there any chance I can see this note?". "Yes sir."

Dumbledore raised his eyebrows when he saw the way to communicate Remus. "I needed to talk to Remus about his werewolf problem, they've found a cure. "Really? That's great!". "I do believe this is quite urgent."

After making a rainbow, James said quite clearly;

"O' Iris Goddess of the rainbow please accept my offering."

He then threw the gold coin in, it disappeared. "No way!"

"Remus Lupin, Long Island, New York."

The Marauders gasped in horror at what they saw.
