I looked up at him, and felt something deep stir up inside me. Something I had always wanted to suppress. Something I hadn't felt for moons, but everything came back once I saw him.

Crowfeather. His gray pelt shimmering in the moonlight.

Forgive me my weakness,

But I don't know why-

Without you it's hard to survive…

I couldn't say anything, as my heart was thudding in my chest. I was sure my eyes betrayed my feelings, my tabby fur shivering, betraying my fear…

Cuz every time we touch-

I get this feeling-

And every time we kiss,

I swear I could fly!

"Leafpool." He acknowledged gruffly, his eyes not meeting mine. "H-How's ThunderClan?"

"It's alright. We are recovering." I cursed inwardly, feeling this horrible heat rise up my chest and face, even as I stared at him, unable to look away.

What was this look that flashed through his eyes? The look that I could almost see on my own face. He was feeling it too. I was almost glad, but I was still terrified, terrified that something would happen to break this moment.

Cuz every time we touch-

I reach for the sky!

"I-I-" I tried to speak, but he laid his tail on my mouth, his eyes becoming softer, the soft blue they had been when he comforted me, all those nights ago in the forest.

"Shh. I know." He murmured, licking the top of my head slowly.

I can't let you go…

My whole body felt like it was made of stars. I was sure we were both dead, that StarClan had called us both to join them, and we had gladly accepted. "Crowfeather…" I mewed quietly, trying to push him away, but never quite managing it.

"We shouldn't be…" I couldn't finish the sentence, but he understood. But I never wanted this moment to end, my heart was pounding in my chest, and the swell of affection threatened to knock me over.

Your arms are my castle-

They wipe away tears that I cry…(I cry…)

I could almost feel my heart break again as I pulled away, looking up at him, knowing that he was feeling the same way. "I'm sorry." I breathed.

He didn't cry, though the tears were apparent as he licked my forehead.

"Don't be."

The good and the bad times-

We've been through them all-

I remembered all that we had been through together, and I could not stop my tears as I turned away, heading back to where I knew I could find solace in my sister. I felt my heart snap again, feeling the pain as if it was fresh…
