Edd and Kevin had been secretly been dating for 3 years now and absolutely no one knew. They were now in their 3 year of high school and Edd wasn't sure he could hide anymore. Kevin one day asked Edd if he would go to homecoming dance with him that he wanted to tell everyone then that they were together. Of course Edd agreed to be his date. The dance was in just a week so he had to get his clothes picked out.
The week had passed quickly and the dance was tomorrow and today was Kevin's big homecoming games for football as he was the captain. Edd went to the game however he hide in the shadows so that he wouldn't be bullied, he watched the game and watched as Kevin scored the winning touchdown. Edd left before the crowd got to much. Edd walked home and showered and texted Kevin congratulations on his win and then went to bed.
The next morning Edd got up and got all his chores done. He showered and dressed for the dance and waited for Kevin to pick him up. Kevin showed up on his motorcycle to take them to the dance. Edd got on the bike with no problem and they headed to the dance. At the dance the boys walked in holding hands and everyone stopped and stared at them. All their friends walked up and they told them that they were dating and everyone was ok with it. Edd was so excited for this to be how it happened. The boys danced the night away, at the end of the dance Kevin took Edd home and kissed him on the cheek. Edd walked inside and showered and went to bed.
Edd heard a strange noise in the background. He slowly opened his eyes to see bright lights and realized that the strange noise was that of the hospital machines. He looked around confused.
He then realized that all of this was just a dream that Kevin and him never really dated.
