Surviving in the Hell we call Reality

This is the story of Ryuichi Matsushita. A 19 year old student, who survived the Global Outbreak (Apocalypse). He offered help to everyone who needed it, protected his friends, family and companions and most of all, he gave the other people who survived a save place they could return to and stay at.

Hello there. I welcome you to "Surviving in the Hell we call Reality".
This is my first fanfiction, so it might not be as good as other stories.
I hope that you'll have fun reading it.

Ah and another thing.
I don't own any of the in the story mentioned characters.
I only own the main character, his family and friends.

Chapter 1: Introduction

Hello there. My name is Ryuichi Matsushita. But my friends call me Ryuu. I'm 19 and currently a senior at the Tokyo High School.
I'm also a Colonel in the Military for Alchemy. But that's a fact not many people know of.
The Fuhrer's reason was: "How would it look like, if a normal high schooler is in the military?"
I know, I know. That's a stupid reason. But to me it doesn't really matter if the people know about it or not.

But enough of the intro and my ranting. I would have never thought that our world would become like the hell itself.
That our lives would be turned over in such a short time. But I'm sure, that no one would have thought of that.
No one expected that such a thing would really happen to us and this world.

The scenery I see every day is like a scene right out of a horror movie. So awful and gruesome.
Every street is full of those things. Zombies, the Undead, Roamers or however you call them.
If you get bitten, it's over for you. You will die and turn into one of those things.

But see for yourself. How the world we knew became a living hell. And this is my story...
