Thayer & Emma- Love story:

Thayer stood dumb founded, not knowing what to do or say. Honestly not even knowing how to react. He thought he would feel better knowing justice was served. Yet this feeling was different, it wasn't a good feeling, he wasn't rejoicing this arrest. But yet at the same time he wasn't regretting it. He knew feelings would be mixed especially for his little sister in whom he cared for most in all of this. "Mads, h-how are you doing?" he asked gently rubbing his hand over her forearm and wrapping her into a tight assuring hug.
"I am still trying to figure that out. How could we do this so, so effortlessly? We had our father sent to prison and didn't even consult him about this, he was married, he was starting over. M-maybe we didn't think this through!" She said still to shocked and breathless from her father's arrest.
"No don't second guess it. It may not seem as though we thought it through but think of all the people this has hurt, changed." He assured her again with words this time. He knew she would do this, she would second guess. But he also knew her strong determined heart and once seeing Emma, Sutton, and Char she would remember who she is and why she does what she does. Emma. All he could think about. She had been all he could think about since the other night. He wasn't lying to her. She was his little bit of light through all there darkness. Sutton was mean and cruel and he could live without her the rest of his life. It was Emma he needed. He hated to let himself fall for another girl that was in love with Ethan Whitehorse. He had hurt enough wonderful girls just by hurting Emma. He didn't deserve even the slightest of her attention! His thoughts were abruptly interrupted.
"Hey there Mads. Thayer. How are you guys doing?" Emma asked in the caring tone Sutton could never find. Mads hugged Emma, and walked away to go lay down. She smiled a slight smile to let us know she would be alright and slowly walked away. Things were still swirling around until Emma wrapped her arms around me again like she had done earlier. "I am so sorry this had to be done."
"It was worth it" I said hugging her tightly. "J-just promise me you will stay here. For Mads? For me?" I asked not meaning to sound pleading.
"I promise Thayer! I wouldn't leave for anything" She said smiling and looking dead into my eyes. I smiled at the thought of this. Her, me. This was how things were meant to be. I felt penetrating eyes. The only penetration that could make me pull away from my light. Suttons. Immediately my eyes shot directly to a window she was standing in as hers turned to Ethan. Ethan was glaring at me and Emma with the bitterest look, like I was touching his property. NO! He was not hurting her again so I walked slowly over to him.
"Thank you for all your he-"I was again interrupted.
"Shut up. You tried to take Sutton. You kissed her and we broke up. You will not take Emma!" He was causing a scene and Emma was noticing. So politely I asked him to leave. When he refused I said, "Listen Ethan, You had Emma. You hurt her and I will not allow you to hurt her. She has been nothing but a savior to every one's life she has entered and you took her for granite. You don't deserve to call her yours. She deserves a man, a real man who will cherish her like gold. Now for someone you love that can be the most you can ask!" I loudly whispered.
"May the best man win? Cause I know I will!" He snarled as he stomped away. But this wasn't a game to me. Her gentle and beautiful heart was at risk. And he wanted this to be a game I could love her right. I will prove that.
