Chase POV
Just a normal day at work. Nothing interesting really. Nothing intersting happened in my life now that Cameron was gone. She used to make my life worthwhile, make me forget all of the pain that had happened in my life. But in reality, she had only added to it. I had lost both of my parents and my wife. Horrible, right? But on the other side, I had met this nurse named Katie and we had started to go out. She was alright, but was no match to Cameron. Since about a month ago, I started thinking about proposing to Katie. The only problem was that I was worried about what would happen if Katie left me as well What would I do? I was snapped out of my reverie when my pager beeped. I picked it up and saw that it read "Cuddy's office". I sighed and dragged myself out of my office, down the hall, and into Cuddy's office.
"Hey Chase." Said Cuddy in her usual serious tone.
"Hi," was all that I replied.
"I would like you to meet your new colleague. She is in the lobby." She said hastily as she shuffled around her oofice, apparently looking for some papers.
"You mean you finally hired somebody? It only took you two years!"
"Ummmm, yes. Now go quickly. She has been waiting for you."
I happily walkied down the hall to the elevators and pressed the ground floor button. As soon as it opened, I rushed out of the door and down towards the lobby. Once I was there, I couldn't believe who was there waiting for me. Cameron.
