Remus Lupin sat at the foot of the bed watching the raindrops slide down the window. He had always been facinated by them but today didn't feel the same. His sister, Luna had been to Hogsmeade and his parents were out with their friends so he was home alone. Again.
It wasn't the first time, of course, he was 16 now, he could look after himself, for gods sake. But today was a full moon and he had to admit, he was pretty nervous. The werewolf was just dropping off when he heard a noise at the window like hail, looking up he saw nothing. "Storm..." he muttered. Continuing to drift off, waking up to hear:
"Remus!"
He looked over to the window impatiently now, scowling, but started grinning as Sirius, James and Peter were at the the window, obviously they had been wearing james' invisibility cloak.
Remus mock-sighed and opened the window slowly, to which the once silent house was filled with a ruccus ( I think thats how its spelt :P) of complaint, much to Remus' annoyance.
"We could have died out there!"
"-so cold!"
"We must have at least caught pn, pne, pnemonia out there!"
"Stop over-reacting, James, its only rain, Pete and that fake shiver isn't fooling any one, Siri," Remus quickly said, making everyone snort. The way Remus put up with these people was confusing for some, but practically living with them for nearly six years meant he had gotten used to their high jinx's by now.
"So, why are you here anyways?" Remus enquired,
"To see you, Remmi!"James said.
"Also it's nearly full moon and we know what you're like!" Sirius added.
Remus smiled, they were going to have fun tonight.
