"This is just great. My show is off the air and Pinky Pie even after she ruined my car. Show is still going on strong," Dan grumbled as he helps Chris and Elise move their stuff out of the moving truck and into their new apartment.
With the show now on reruns, Dan and the others had to move to the cartoon city of Reruns. Where all the past shows cast end up living. It was first started by the black and white cast members after their shown no longer were being made. The mayor of the city is Bluto, who has run things since the city was just a small town. He and his cast members have been luckier then others as they been pulled back into the spotlight more times then others. The last time they had a show was during the 90's with Popeye and Son. And then there's the upcoming Popeye CGI movie coming out. (1)
"Don't forget the huge fan base," Elise pointed out.
"And they make huge amounts of money for their company with all the toys they sell," Chris said.
"Don't forget all the adult men who like them as well," Dan pointed out.
"Oh stop it. A good show is a good show," Chris said. "Anyways, Dan now that the show is over. Are you going to get a job?"
"Me a job?" Dan ask shock.
"Well we do get checks for the reruns of our show but you really should look for a job," Chris said.
"I'm already joining the police force. It be great working along with all the lawmen from past shows," Elise said.
"And, I'm going to be working at a accounting firm run by Scrooge McDuck," Chris adds.
"Please like, I need a job," Dan said.
"Actually you do. Unlike back in the show you can't just go without a job. What you do for food? And no you're not going to be a sponging off of us. We're not in a show anymore and we don't have to put up with it anymore," Elise said.
"Well just to let you know. I already have a job," Dan said to their surprise. "After all, I can't have Mr. Mumbles go hungry can, I."
"Wow that's great," Chris said.
"Wait what job is it?" Elise ask.
"I'm going to be working at the recycling plant crushing and smashing things to make into stuff to make other stuff," Dan said.
"At least that will let you have an outlet for your anger issues," Elise said. "You can't just continue to act as you did in the show."
"Besides Bugs and the other toons setup a park for that kind of stuff. There any toon will have the same toon physics as the Looney Toon cast," Chris said.
"Want to go?" Dan ask.
"Sure, Dan. I would love to go," Elise smiled evily at him. "There, I can blow you up, smash you with a hammer and run you over all, I want without you being killed."
"Sure as long as you know, I'm planning on the samething as with you," Dan smiled back.
"This isn't going to end well," Chris said worried.
A loud crash echoed through the apartment complex. Running to where the noise came from they saw Astro Boy had crash onto Dan's car.
"MY CAR!" Dan shouted. "What are you doing here?"
"Oh sorry about this. I was flying ahead to see where to land when, I got hit," Astro said.
"By what?" Dan shouted.
"By me," Jane Jetson said as she flew down with a huge dent on her flying car. "This is a no fly zone."
"Sorry about that," Astro said flying off.
"Hey wait you can't just fly off like that!" Jane shouted flying after him.
"What is that has been doing here?" Dan shouted out.
"Looks like the first wave has come," Speed Racer said who is now a wash out as a racer as he lost so manytimes to the Wacky Racers that he now works at the DMV.
"First wave?" Elise ask.
"Seems the anime city where all the out of work anime cast members use to live got destroyed because of some out of control fights. The government there isn't letting it be rebuilt because of all the repair bills that have been building up thanks to the anime cast livign there. So now they're all coming to live here now. As the looney toon cast help build this city the toon physics of western toons are in effect here. And anime physics don't work here. I found out the hard way," Speed said as the last time his show was on a major network was on Cartoon Network. So when they stop airing his show he just stayed here instead of moving back to Japan. Besides he can't stand all the newer animes.
"Great that just great. Now we're going to have to deal with a bunch of out of control anime cast members coming here. Who will just blow things up," Dan growled.
"Come on it's not going to be like that," Chris said.
The sound of Dan's car being crush got their attentions. Looking down they saw a long line of tanks driving down the street. The tank police of Dominion Tank Police had arrived and are on their way to the G.I. Joe army base. As that's the only place that would take them in, as the tanks wouldn't cut if with the police of the city.
"ANIME!" Dan shouted shaking his fists in the air.
