I don't Own THEM!

I hope you enjoy this!

"It's an orangey-pink and black." Peter held out two muggle pair buckets out.

"Uh uh uh dear Peter, tis Coral and Ebony. Very different. Very...chic." Sirius had a bag of paint brushes in hand.

"We are Not painting the room Orange and Bla-"

"Coral and Ebony."

"Fine, we are not painting the room Coral and Ebony." Remus narrowed his eyes. Sirius blinked.

"How about we paint the room to match that new poster I got?" Sirius asked, pulling out a poster of Slipknot. Remus slapped his forehead.

"No!" Peter had already gotten the paint colors changed with a tap of his wand. He looked up at Remus.

"But-"

"No."

"Can we listen to the song?" Sirius asked, playing with the muggle stereo by the wall, the CD was inserted before Remus could stop him. Duality was the first song on.

"I push my fingers into my eyes..." Sirius and Peter sang along as they danced around with the paint cans. Remus gave up and just left the two too it.

"He gone?" Sirius asked. Peter looked out the door to see Remus muttering darkly as he punched his arms through his jacket sleeves before leaving the house, slamming the door behind him.

"All's clear." Peter confirmed before Sirius cheered and pulled out the second CD. James and Remus made fun of Sirius' and Peter's love of Lana Del Ray, so the boys would make sure that the other two were gone before playing her music.

The first few notes of Queen of Disaster started playing before Peter tapped the paint buckets to change the colors back to the original red and gold that Sirius had gotten.

"Shall we?" Sirius asked as he started to apply the paint to the ready walls. If the finish before Remus gets back with the new colors, well, it would be better if they were not in the vicinity.

"Where I lived - winter and hard earth.

I sat in my cold stone room

choosing tough words, granite, flint,

to break the ice. My broken heart -

I tried that, but it skimmed,

flat, over the frozen lake." James put the paper down before he got to the end.

"What is this?" He asked two of his three friends.

Sirius looked innocently to the window, Peter just looked nervous.

"Well, er, I mean, uh..." Peter started.

"It's a muggle poem James. We found it in that muggle magazine Lily brought us." Sirius finally turned to his best friend with a grin.

"Uh huh, and why am I holding a copy of it on parchment?" James asked. He wasn't the mature one, he was the fun one, so why was Sirius and Peter's scheme sending a 'don't comply' feeling up and down his spine?

"Well, we were thinking, what if we spread it around here? No one would realize it was a muggle poem and,"

Sirius cut Peter off.

"We could get recognition as great artist! Birds would be lining up to meet us!" James rolled his eyes.

"What about the muggleborns? They would realize and tell people." James voiced it slowly.

"You're spending way too much time with Lily and Remus. You should come with Peter and I, we can go, have some fun. Forget about the poem, we'll find something Better!" Sirius threw his arm around James' shoulder, Peter already under the other arm, grinning alongside him.

"Let's not. I have to get home before Lily." Sirius' smile fell.

"Okay then. Peter and I will go out and have fun. You can come after you stop being such a bore." James just shook his head as the two left the flat, the poem lay forgotten on the table.

Ecstatic. It was a feeling Peter didn't get often. But it was the feeling he felt now as he and Sirius ran, laughing, through muggle London.

They had pulled the greatest prank ever, turning everyone blue within a twenty foot radius of Big Ben.

It was a simple spell that would wear off in an hour, but the look on everyone's faces was priceless. No one knew it was them, and nothing could give then away.

The feeling of completing a complicated task, and getting away scot free, it was the greatest feeling Peter has known.

Sirius and Peter crept into the now dry room as silently as they could. Everything was back in place, meaning Remus was back. They almost made it to the beds, when the lights flickered on and three angry figures stood in the door way.

"Sirius, Peter. You have some explaining to do." Lily said slowly.

"People claiming to have turned blue for an hour? Trying to sell off a muggle poem as your own? Tricking Remus to buy two extra cans of paint? What has gotten in to you?" Lily crossed her arms.

Sirius and Peter looked down in embarrassment, not because they were sorry, but because they were caught. They weren't really going to sell off the poem with their own name...for long, just for a date or two before fessing up. And the blue thing, meh, it was just harmless fun in their opinion.

"Well, Remus should have realized that we could change the color of the paint with the touch of a wand, I mean, Peter did change it right in front of him." Remus pinked.

"Sorry." Peter mumbled.

"Just..." Lily sighed deeply.

"Just don't get caught okay?" Lily smirked at the marauders expressions.

"I know how to have fun too."

The flat was filled with joyous laughter.

I hope this works. In this I made it a bit AU in there is no Voldemort so Peter never went bad.

I hope it was okay.
