sequel to: Bad Choices

CH.1 RECAP

Last story…

"Eric do you know Caitlyn Walker?" Daniel said, staring hard into Eric's eyes. The rest of the CSI crew awaited patiently for Eric's answer.

Eric just sat there, eyes darting around the room.

"Well?" Daniel questioned impatiently.

"Yes." Eric confessed, "I don't need a test, because I am your father. I met Caitlyn fourteen years ago. Horatio on the other hand, met her fifteen years ago.

Daniel stood there, then said, "You knew and you never told me? You let me suffer through all this. When it could have all been done and over with?"

Daniel didn't care so he said this, "Screw you, you bastard!" and Daniel kicked Eric so hard in the shin he made it bleed.

"Ow! Shit!" Eric screamed.

CH. 2 MAN UP!

Later that day Eric felt like crap for two reasons, the first was that his shin was killing him with all kinds of pain and two was that he felt like a complete failure to Daniel. He knew all along that he should have already told Daniel.

Daniel stayed at Calliegh's apartment that night he was also feeling like crap for two reasons. One was that he had a sore toe, and the second was that he felt bad. He shouldn't have exploded like that.

After a few weeks Daniel was known by everyone in the building. He was riding with Horatio in the CSI truck and going on small cases. Everybody said he looked as happy as ever now that he knows who his dad is.

But he wasn't. Daniel was still upset about the situation and wanted to make it better by apologizing to him. So Daniel went to find Eric.

When he caught up with Eric , Daniel stopped an eavesdropped on him and Natalia, who hasn't heard about the daddy situation yet.

CH. 3 UNWANTED

"I'm glad you don't have kids Eric." Natalia said.

Eric looked confused. Surly she'd heard already. He said to himself. "Why is that." Eric said still looking confused.

"Well I love kids but when it comes to dating, save the kids for marriage. I want to be a mom not a step mom." Natalia said as she walked away.

Eric looked completely disappointed. Daniel was too. Daniel decided to ask Calliegh something.

"Calliegh, will you adopt me?"

"I thought Eric was.?"

"Well it's just, Natalia doesn't want to go out with guys with kids, she wants her own. And I know Eric wants to date her so if he didn't have kids you know…" his voice trailed off.

"I'll just have to confront Eric and Natalia about it." said Calliegh walking away.

"No! Please don't. I was eavesdropping." said Daniel, grabbing Calliegh's arm.

"I'm gonna have to." Calliegh said, pulling her arm away as Daniel let go.

"Fine." Daniel caved.

CH. 4 SOMEONE ELSE

After the mayhem of that confrontation, Eric and Daniel agreed to go separate ways. Meaning, Daniel would get adopted by someone else at CSI and would come to the building to see Eric mostly everyday.

The new question was who would be that someone else who was willing to take Daniel in. after four hours at CSI someone finally brought the papers in to sign and guess who its was?

Horatio. He said that he owed something to Caitlyn and this was how to repay it back. And even though Daniel was a good guy, Horatio would stick him into shape.

And he did, when Daniel turned 16 he was qualified to travel with the CSI crew and do cases and Horatio and Eric helped him train.

ch. 5 what now?

Now Daniel works with Eric and Horatio and the rest of the crew as an official member of the team. Daniel is 21 just got out of college wit everything going for him…
