Chapter 1

The blond boy stands their staring at the girl "Jaune are you serious?" Jaune nods "I love you!" He yells out the girl takes a step back she stares at him "please" he says bowing "go out with me!"

Staring at him she covers her mouth with her hands "I'm sorry." She say taking a few steps back "I can't" Jaune feels himself freeze at the words "w-why?" He asked he feels his heart beating faster as he stands their waiting for an answer.

"Because" she starts, a smile appearing on her face as a group of people walk out with smug looks on their faces. Jaune stares at them in confusion "I can't believe he actually did it what a fucking loser!"

The guy in the front says wrapping his arm around the girl. "Wh-what's going on here?" Jaune asked as she smiles lifting a small object and clicking a button on it "I love you...Please go out with me!" Jaune stares at the object then at the girl the realization finally sinking in entirely.

"N...No way" he says lowering his head the guy grins walking forward "you really think she was into you man?" The guy asked the grin never leaving his face Jaune looks up tears in his eyes his hand balled up into a fist he swings at the guy.

The guy moves out of the way easily kicking Jaune from behind making the blond fall to the floor "what did the dude tell you his dream was again?...Oh! Right you wanted to be a hunter didn't you?" Jaune feels the air in his throat fire back out as he tries to say something the boy kicks Jaune in the side stopping him from getting up as Jaune curls up in a ball.

"Drake don't you think that's enough?" One of the girls' asked "of course of course sorry." He says walking over to one of the boys' with him and muttering something to him "well me and the girls will go ahead can you guy's go get the drinks?" Drake asked with a large smile the guys smile nodding "of course."

'Is snow...Always red?' Jaune thought as he laid in the park the guys walking away with a laugh 'no,its not then why's it red?' As time passes someone stops in front of Jaune "..." Jaune notices the breathing looking up he sees a man standing their a bag over his shoulder.

"You look like shit kid" the individual says extending his hand to Jaune who raised his slowly to reach the mans.

Three years later.

The fist collides with the sand bag sending it back as it comes back around the individual kicks it hard to the side a large rip forming where they'd kick. "Nice form but you got to stop kicking so hard your gonna bankrupt me kid?" The bald man says patting the boy on the back the boy pants nodding.

"Sorry about that Chris I just wanted to get some training in before tomorrow." The man grins nodding the boy only shakes his head "come on Chris I'm being serious I don't have any special abilities so I have to polish the things I can do."

Chris nods "I notice you've only been practicing here non-stop since this morning did you already practice with your sword?"

The boy nods "of course I did I need to work on parrying with my shield but I'm pretty good with my blade now." He nods over to the side, a blade incased in a white laying against the wall. "So you gonna spar with me today Chris?" Chris nods ushering the boy to the ring.

"So your fighting with your blade only today ?" Chris asked as the boy lays the casing against the wall nodding at Chris's question. Chris laughs lifting his battle ax over his shoulder and nodding at the boy telling him he was ready to start.

The boy launches forward slashing at Chris who pivots to the right swing his ax in a downwards arc the boy manages a handspring backwards landing a few feet away from Chris who charges the boy giving him no time to recover. "You getting slow kid!?" Chris roars as he swings wide.

Bending back the boy barely doges the deadly attack and sends in a kick to the older mans leg causing the man to stumble mid swing his ax crashing into the floor. Before Chris can pull it out the boy throws his sword at Chris causing him to jump back.

Not bothering to retrieve the blade the boy continues his assault sending a kick towards Chris's right temple Chris arm goes up blocking the strike the boy grins spinning he kicks the other side Chris blocks again not noticing the boy's incoming fist.

Chris fly's back hitting the ground the boy lands dusting himself off "one to eighty nine." The boy says grabbing his blade and pointing it at Chris. smiling Chris nods laughing as he stands up.

"This is your win thats for sure your old man taught you well." Chris says ripping his ax free from the floor boards "I'm sure he wouldn't approve of your bare fist fighting but we won't tell him."

Nodding the boy falls to the floor panting "looks like you blew all your energy on that last punch." Chris says sighing "if you keep acting like that you'll end up dying if there's more than one enemy Jaune."

Jaune looks at the man nodding "you also weren't wearing your armor platting a black jacket isn't armor it's clothing." Jaune nods at Chris's remark. "Just..." Jaune begins "just let me rest for a moment." Chris laughs shaking his head.

"No way that's happening were celebrating your moving on to great things it would seem and I want to give you a gift." Chris says Jaune smiles rubbing the back of his head a large metal cuff sitting on either one of his arms or legs.

It didn't take long for the two to get to a bar even though Jaune was a minor it seemed they didn't mind if he drank anything "so you ready?" Chris says taking one of the many shots he had lined up in front of him. Jaune shakes his head at the offer of drinks before long Chris had passed out and Jaune was sitting idly in the bar for him to wake up.

"Just go on without me I'll send you my gift" Chris mutters Jaune stares at Chris smiling "of course" Jaune says with a smile. "Alright then get out of here I'm gonna take a few more drinks don't forget to say goodbye to everyone else for me alright?" Jaune smiles nodding.

As he walks out he hears the roar of tires in front of him. Looking up he sees a woman standing in the middle of the road as a truck tries to skid to a stop. "Watch out miss!" Jaune yells pushing her out of the way.

'Huh' Jaune looks seeing a blonde boy flying through the air hitting the side walk with a thud "did someone get hit?" Jaune asked walking over to the body freezing as he sees the face "that's right~" Jaune snaps turning around to see a young boy sitting their "who're you!" Jaune yells jumping back.

The pink eyed boy grins as he jumps up "me my name's Cupid" The boy says he wore green jacket with matching pants his under shirt seem to be ripped a bit but was hidden by the jacket. His hair matching the color of his clothing as he takes a few steps towards Jaune and the body.

"Looks like you suffered an accident there Jauney boy" Cupid says with a smile "an accident?" Jaune says Cupid grins "you can't hear it" Cupid lifts his hand to his ear Jaune looks around confused freezing when the sound reaches his ear.

"Thats the sound of death" Cupid says "and your his client~" Jaune shakes his head "no way am I dying I still have something to do" Jaune says he didn't train for three years to die like this!" "Of course that's why I'm here to give you an option."

Jaune looks at Cupid with confusion and a little interest "you see Jaune I enjoy my job romance and all that jazz but what irks me is when the other gods give credit for my work to some goddess" Cupid growls "goddess?" Jaune ask Cupid chuckles "right you people never heard of her she's a bitch well I think she's a bitch at least."

Cupid waves his hand moving the subject out of the way "anyways, I made a wager with her stake it all who'll get the credit for the work in the world and who'll be taunted by the other for centuries to come even get a little power from it." Cupid lifts his finger "the problem is I'm at a disadvantage."

Jaune looks at Cupid confused sighing Cupid lifts his hand and a screen appears in front of Jaune "what is this?" Jaune ask "this is the power I have left to make as many true loves as possible." Jaune looks at how much was left and began flipping through the information "you can only do one?" Jaune ask Cupid nods.

"She made this deal when I'm at my low if I go to get more power than It'll be my loss so instead of trying to make multiple couples I'm putting everything I've got into one to create many." Jaune chuckles "so what you want a guy to get people together for you?" Jaune says thinking he might be able to pull that off.

"No...you see I need the love not to be forced and you being dead is perfect for me once I put you back in your body I'll have given you enough power to make as many true loves as possible with any girl out there!"

Jaune jumps back "no way can I do that I haven't even...dated a girl" Jaune says lowering his head "don't worry about it kid that's why well be using this!"

Jaune feels something latch to his wrist seeing a gauntlet on his arm he feels something weird happen the world vanishing around him.

"This is the date arena" Cupid explains "here you'll fight the girls expectation of you along with their feeling and happiness." A large wolf appears in front of Jaune "this is a date beast as long as they exist the date won't progress anywhere using the energy from the gauntlet you can use different types of abilities."

A screen appears in front of Jaune "this is their passion meter the higher it is the more your attacks will do" Jaune nods "Now there's also their love meter once this reaches its limit the date will be cleared".

The gauntlet on Jaune's arm shines a small red glow flowing around his arms and legs "see your power level has increased!" Jaune nods. "Now then there are different attacks you can use changing the orb to something that the individual likes try using the orange orb romance."

Jaune nods focusing the orb changes color the wolf growls lunging forward Jaune pivots to the right punching the wolf it howls in pain flipping back.

"Awesome!" He yells "now I'll give you something that'll help you during your date" He hands Jaune a teddy bear "this is a date gift using these gifts you can create weapons or power ups which will help you kill the date beast try using it now since theirs no girl here you can give it to me."

Jaune hands it to him and a light shines from the sky a sword impaling into the ground a pink orb in the middle "see this blade came from you using the date gift and with a little bit of my power you'll be able to summon it again whenever you need to since you'll never lose your gift."

The wolf lunges once again Jaune sees something flashes before him slashing upwards when the orb in the gauntlet turns blue the wolf howls in pain and Jaune finds himself humming a song.

"Nice it seems like your gauntlet gave you the ability to see the best move you can make if a date monster gets in to close so its like a counter." Jaune nods "lets just call it love vision."

Cupid smiles "now for the final few things your orbs your orange orb is romance the red is sexuality the blue is talent and the green is flirtation when you kill one of the date beast you'll also gain Passion like if you were to talk to me outside of the date world."

"The last two things " Cupid begins "one, the golden date beast will give you more time to pass the date while getting hit by any of the date beast will decrease how well the date is going."

Jaune sighs with relief as Cupid continues. "Also try to hit as many date beast as possible with one strike the more you hit the more Affection will be added to the entire date and bring it closer to completion."

Taking a deep breath Jaune looks at the wolves preparing himself to fight the group the one in the back was golden meaning it add to his time. Jaune getting into his stance launches forward at the wolves who doge his attack jumping out of the way. A flash Jaune swaps to green slashing the wolf that lunges in front of him cutting it in half.

A moment later he looks at Cupid sighing "so why me?" He ask Cupid smiles winking "thats a secret, keep fighting and I might tell you~"

Working quickly Jaune blocks an attack from the golden one kicking it and changing the orb to red stabbing into the wolfs head as it vanishes the world seems to expand inside. "Right I should tell you the entire time your fighting the date beast the world around you is breaking once it shatters the date will end meaning if you can't kill all the date beast before it can you lose." Cupid says.

Jaune jumps over one of the wolves throwing the sword into its back it howls out in pain pinned to the grounded but not dead. "Only two more to go" Jaune says lifting his fist at the last two. The wolf howls and the world seems to break quicker making the ground shake Jaune loses his balance falling toward one of the wolves.

He feels the words he says jumble up and Cupid laughs "so you got hit seems like it'll take away your words but be careful I don't know exactly how much it'll effect your action if you take to much damage in the date world."

Jaune pulls himself up looking at the large bite mark on his arm and cursing under his breath the two charge him once again a flash and Jaune changes the orb to green kicking the wolf to the left across its head the wolf falls to the floor blood trickling from its head before vanishing.

"I'm surprised how good you look in green" Jaune says covering his mouth in confusion "wow didn't know you swing that way Jauney boy that's perfect it means you can target guy's too! Oh and thank you I try."

Turning quickly Jaune runs over to the sword pinned into the ground swapping to the orange as he twist the blade out of the wolf and charges the last one slashing as the wolf claws at him the two stand their for a moment before the wolf vanishes along with Jaune's sword. "DATE CLEARED" a mechanical voice yells happily.

Jaune's body begins to glow and Jaune's slowly forced back in "it seems as though you pass the test Jauney boy with flying color's!" Jaune eyes snap open and he's laying on the sidewalk people seem to finally be coming out.

" We should go" Cupid voice rings in Jaune's head "oh and pick me up!" Jaune looks down to see a short sword laying on the floor next's to his own weapon picking the two up he puts them to his left side. "Alright were all set now Jaune as of right now the contract will be finalize if you'd like to refuse the contract say now or forever hold your peace."

Jaune stops running standing their "you know my answer I don't want to die." Jaune says calmly "oh cool and chilling now then to finalize to contract " Jaune eyes widen he falls to the ground grabbing at his face 'my eyes!' Jaune screams on the inside managing to stand up he looks in a mirror his normal blue eyes were replaced with pink ones "what...what happen to my eyes!"

He hears Cupid chuckle "don't worry only you see your eyes like that to everyone else your eye's are blue it be bad if one of her champions new I was with you in the first place." Jaune punches the wall "I get that but why did you do that!"

Cupid sighs "because now you can't resist you'll have to make connections with girls if you ignore the urge to talk to them you'll feel that pain again till you go insane." Jaune grabs at his face in a panic "what the hell do you mean I would have done it cupid!"

Before Jaune can continue Cupid cuts him off "simple because it was one of the safest ways to bind your soul with your body as you increase your relationship with girls your desire will decrease and your soul will be out of harms way it just depends on how much your hard carves and will take in."

'So he's betting my heart open for multiple girls? He limiting himself to how much I crave so my souls safer." Jaune sighs "thank you that out of body experience I was what you were calling a soul a moment ago I don't really know what it is but I'll die without it so thank you."

Cupid laughs inside Jaune head "don't thank me to much you're still under contract meaning no matter how much you love one girl if your heart craves another you'll have to take on more than one love interest." Jaune lowers his head "...alright my mother always said girls would love my name I think I can do this and after you won your bet I'll just explain to them the situation."

Cupid sighs "sure Jaune of course, there might be other agents here who can help you I'm not sure since I don't show myself to many if you meet them lets hope they know me for the better because I can't hide your eyes from them."

After a few more minutes of talking Jaune made it to his apartment yawning "so Cupid is their any other things I should know about this power I've gain" Jaune says looking at where the gauntlet use to be "I wouldn't know the name of your gauntlet since every time I've helped someone its been a different object."

Cupid chuckles "I'll tell you there was some interesting one's a while back had a guy who's power came from a prince charming the orb was a bit on the larger side as well." Jaune shakes his head "just, stop sorry I asked."

Jaune lays the two swords next to his bed laying down Jaune grabs a notebook from the edge of his bed opening it up to a page with nothing on it and begins to write.

'Dear sis I died today don't tell the others but I actually died today I meet a weird guy name cupid who helped me come back to the world of the living, except for the face I've gotten between two deity's fighting each other. I won't send this letter to you I don't want to seem crazy but its good to write to someone tell the other six I said hi mom and dad too if you got a chance. Love your big brother Jaune.'

Jaune closes the notebook sighing "Cupid." Jaune says calmly the boy appears in front of him "yes~" Cupid says with a small playing on his face as he floats over the bed. "I'll try my best to become this person you want me to be but please if it comes down to hurting a girl or a guy doesn't matter please stop me I know how much this bet means to you but I don't want to hurt someone because I get cocky or something like that." Cupid grins "spoken like a true cherry boy." Jaune turns red "shut it cupid!" Jaune yells.

Laughing cupid looks at Jaune "I was planning on stopping you from going overboard if it makes you feel better so don't worry right now were a team" Cupid falls onto the bed yawning "well good night~!"

"What are you doing?" Jaune ask Cupid looks over to Jaune smiling "sleeping" he says happily "on my bed?" Jaune ask Cupid acts embarrassed looking at Jaune "it's my first time...so please be gentle~" Jaune fires up "like hell I'll touch you!" Jaune growls Cupid laughs "of course Jaune but if you must know theirs only one bed were both guy's so calm down alright bro?"

Jaune sighs "alright I guess I do need as much sleep as possible just stay on your side of the bed alright?" Cupid smiles "of course~" Jaune stays awake as long as possible looking at the small boy who laid across from him pink eyes forcing their way into Jaune's blue "this is still my first-" "go to sleep" Jaune says rolling over and finding sleep quickly.

"So your the one who's going against me?" Jaune turns seeing a giant stair case shrouded in darkness "it would seem he hid you well but that only means you don't know who I am as well" the feminine voice says "if your truly worthy you'll make it back here one day but as of now your nothing but a cherry boy with a sword aren't you?" Jaune face turns a bit red as he reaches for his blade "will everyone stop calling me that!" He yells slashing at the stair case which vanishes with a small chuckle from the voice.

"It don't worry well find you and if you proceed to help him well take everything you know and love then kill you goodnight cherry boy~" Jaune eyes snap open it was a bit later and Cupid was asleep under the covers Jaune sighs "you were right she's a bitch."
