Movie Night

Summary: Movie nights at Max's place are interesting to say the least.

"We aren't watching Die Hard again, cuz," Chin said as he took a seat on the sofa. He set the bowl of popcorn on the table.
"I am not watching one of your documentaries again." Kono flopped down next to him.
"Because you got all weepy eyes."
"I did not!"
"Max had to go and find a box of tissues."
"It was allergies."
"Allergies?" Max said as he came into the room with his arms full with cups.
"The movie."
"Ahh…Lori did the same." Max said as he struggled to put down the drinks on the table.
He laughed when Kono gave him a look.
"You know for that comment…I can make us watch Legally Blonde."
He and Max groaned. Kono just laughed. He knew that his cousin was evil.
"I think that I and Max will pull out the veto vote," He said.
His cousin shook her finger at him and smirked at him.
"No way…You are out numbered."
"Actually, it would be a tie vote," Max added.
He chuckled at the girls' faces. He got love Max for his honesty.
"Do you think McGaratett and Danny will show?" Kono said as she grabbed her drink from the table.
"They haven't answered my emails." Max said with a pout.
You know calling them might work," Lori said before she threw some popcorn into her mouth.
He rolled his eyes. Out of the corner of his eyes, he saw his cuz do the same thing. Max doesn't use phones or watched the news. In a strange way, he could understand the reason. He had moments where that he wanted to lock himself from the outside world.
"I don't do phones."
Kono patted Lori on the shoulder.
"One of these days, we are going to get you on a phone, Max. In fact, you may even like it."
He almost laughed at Max's expression on his face. Not going to happen.
"Okay, guys…stop picking on Max. We need to decide on a movie."
"Unbreakable."
"Training Day."
"No Strings Attached."
"God, girl…what is with you and romance comedies?"
"Not everyone likes to bring their work to the movies. Beside, I was going to suggest Grease but I don't think that Chin would have it."
"Stop making me feel old…and you're right. I don't have a copy."
Kono was bouncing in her sear with a grin on her face. He knew that look. It was the same look that got him into trouble when they were children…and now.
"I have it. We could totally dress up too."
"No."
"You can invite your girl along too."
"Yes, I would like to meet her. She sounded to be a very interesting individual," Max added.
"No!"
"I bet that she would love it," His cousin added.
"She will probably be busy."
She just smiled. He groaned to himself. He just knew it. He was going to get dragged into something that he really didn't want to be dragged into this. He watched as the others talked happily about the plan.
To think that Steve and Danny was missing this.
Lucky them.
