Chapter 1: First Sight
Harry's POV
I don't know where it all went so wrong... But if I had to start somewhere I guess it all started during the summer before my sixth year of school at Hogwarts.
~July 13, 1995, Little Whinging
As I ran for the hell known to me as 4 Privet Drive, I sought out one of the few calm places I knew of in the form of the local playground. Soon I reached my destination and sat gratefully on one of the swings and started thinking. I don't know how much time passed but soon it was almost pitch black out and I could barley see in front of me.
That's when I noticed them
That's when I noticed the eyes watching me
I can't say I wasn't frightened at first. But as I slowly reached for my wand I realized something about them.
They had no malice, no anger, or any signs of danger to me
Rather they had a strange look, one that seemed soft, yet had a distinct edge to them.
Those large orbs that seemed to be looking straight through my soul.
As I stared at those large, unblinking eyes I was neither scared nor relaxed. I didn't know what else to do so I just sat there staring at the large eyes that were always staring back.
In the distance I heard my whale of a cousin Dudley, and his friends coming after me.
Probably for a nice round of what they called 'Harry Hunting'. I looked toward where the sound was coming from and heard a rustle behind me.
Quickly I turned around to see those large yes had vanished and with them any reason I had for still being here. I got up and started off in the direction of the library. One of the few places I was really safe from Dudley and his gang.
Never did I know that night was when everything would change.
(Unknown POV)
As I watched my beloved depart I couldn't help but feel a little sad. I wanted to go to him, comfort him, and make sure I was the only one he looked at with those gorgeous green eyes. Even if he didn't know my identity, at least not yet. Yes so close but yet so far.
Oh well there was work to be done
From my hiding spot I saw the bastard that had hurt my Harry and done so many horrible things to him over the years.
But, that would stop soon.
Huh I though to myself everything will happen very soon. But now was not the time to be daydreaming about him. I had a job for tonight I reminded myself as I made sure I had everything I needed and set out for the night.
Just wait darling, nothing will stop us

(2017 Note: I have came back from my slumber to clean this up, I do plan on finishing this story ,but it will definitely be a while, as I go on in school my writing has gotten a lot better so I think I'm at the point where I can write at a level this story deserves)
