MY BRUISES HAVE BRUISES

Dean eased himself down on the bed, bottom lip firmly clasped between his teeth to hold back the groan threatening to erupt. While not seriously hurt on this hunt, he was a mass of bruises and strains and knew that, once horizontal, it would be awhile before he achieved vertical again.
Letting go of his abused lip, Dean sighed. The hot shower had been nice but sadly couldn't work miracles. He wiggled his head deeper into the pillow.
"You okay, dude?" Sam voice drifted over him from somewhere in the room.
Dean formed a fist, pointed his thumb upward. "Peachy."
