Alright! Maria and Firion. Based on something I noticed in a scene in the game. Or at least, if my memory doesn't fail me. Enjoy.

Step forward. Step back. Step left. Step right. Spin around her. Pause while she twirls around you. Step around again. Repeat.

Firion watched the tiled floor as he danced with Maria. When it came to any fight, riding a wyvern into cyclones, and liberating countries from cruel emperors, Firion would bravely face any task given to him. But now, after they killed the emperor, in celebration, everyone was dancing. Maria had paired with him, and he was lost. He lacked the doughty nature that he faced his hardest oppositions with. The music played loudly as he focused with all of his might on what Maria's feet were doing. They shuffled forward and backward, left and right, around and around. Her hand was gently with his, pulling him in directions that gave him a rush of dizziness.

"Firion. Look up." Maria whispered. He glanced at her face in response and stepped on her boot. With a flush, he glared at the tiles again.

"This is supposed to be a happy moment, Firion. You look miserable."

"Sorry." He murmured. Firion met her eyes and attempted an expression. She frowned at him and he looked back down. "I'm really bad at this," was the only thing he could spit out after a long pause.

"How was it, that we were raised together, and I learned to dance, yet somehow, you completely missed out?"

"...I don't know."

The song lasted for what seemed forever to Firion. The strings played an upbeat tempo, giving off a fervid atmosphere. His cheeks were flushed, if from the fast-paced dancing that he couldn't keep up with, or the close proximity to Maria and her assets, was as good as anyone's guess. The said partner was stifling a laugh. Firion shot the tiles another glare, avoiding Maria's teasing.

"You'd think you'd catch on after a while." Maria seemingly purred at him.

"You're enjoying this way too much."

"You have no idea. Smile and we'd both enjoy this." She told him as she passed his side in a twirl. Her violet locks grazed his face as she paused for him to circle around her. He obliged to her guidance and crashed his entire left side into her back. He then proceeded to distance himself from her completely, avoiding any contact necessary. With a wink, she pulled him closer to her and started breathing orders into his ear.

"Back. Forward. Left. Right. Now, around." She laughed as he followed her orders obediently. "Let me lead, and you're less likely to make a fool of yourself."

"You led me out here to this accursed dance floor." He grumbled back, inaudibly.

As the dance continued on, Firion finally realized a pattern to the movements, with directions presented bluntly to him. A small grin tugged at the corners of his lips as he passed Maria and cleared any embarrassments involving her body.

"Not bad." Maria smiled at him. For the first time in the entire dance, Firion looked around the ballroom without stepping on her boots. Young couples danced closely at each other's sides, everyone in an even, fast tempo. Then, a sudden realization dawned on him.

"Why am I on the same side as all of the women?"

In the scene where they party to celebrate the defeat of the emperor for the first time, Gordon or Firion is on the same side as the women. I can't remember which, so I chose Firion. It was probably Gordon, but Firion is more fun to imagine in this situation. I really hoped you enjoyed this.
