Akira grew up in a small village called the Kuhaku Village. It was small and had a very small army called the kuhaku warriors. One day something terrible happened. The village was under attack. The army was defeated and the village was destroyed. When Akira woke up she had a chain attached to her chest. She spent two days wandering what used to be the Kuhaku village,looking for her family,but then she bumped into a soul reaper.
"uhhh hi"
"hello my name is Riku"said the soul reaper
"im Akira"
"well Akira just relax im just going to preform a spiritual burial on you" he said as he pulled out his zanpakuto.
"uhhh ok" she said as she closed her eyes and he tapped his zanpakuto against her forehead. Next thing she new it she was sent to the Soul Society. She spent at least three years living in the first district of the Rukongai. A year later she joined the soul reaper academy.
