Summary: ONESHOTKagome goes back home to Tokyo, and when she gets back to the Feudal Era she finds that something horrid has happened to the village. Oh and yes, Kagome nearly dies so have fun with this.
Notes: Yeah well this is my second attempt to making a(n) Inuyasha fic so tell me what ya think when you are done reading. I take flames so BRING THEM ON!!! Sha... (strikes a pose). Well on to the fic...
The Future:
"Inuyasha where are you? I can't see you?"
Kagome was engulfed in ash that would never end, and Inuyasha was nowhere in sight. Heart racing and panting, Kagome couldn't get out. Just up ahead Kagome could see an opening and then... she fell into an endless pit, never to reach the bottom... or not...
The Present:
"Inuyasha I'm going home for the day," Kagome would say as if she had done it a million times.
"What ever, just make sure that you are back before Naraku attacks again. I can't have you in your era when that happens."
"Fine," Kagome responded as she was rubbing her head in frustration. See, she knew that she wouldn't be home within a day, but she left anyway.
While Kagome was gone Naraku attacked, and the village burned down to the ground.
Climbing up the walls of the well she could see the ash in the sky. Ember flames were still burning even though it was raining. Kagome stood out side of the well just for a moment. Kagome started to walk towards the flames as they started to burn her skirt. All she was worried about was Inuyasha. Was he safe? That was all she could think of right now. Running, Kagome started to feel weightless and soon was in a dense fog of ash.
"Inuyasha! Where are you?" She would yell. Just to get no reply. Out of breath, she was now stumbling, and nearly tripped over her own feet. Kagome regained her balance, but now she was falling. Falling, to the bottom of a pit, and all you could hear was her cry, "Inu...yasha!"
Suddenly out of nowhere a red blur jumps out and grabs her. "Don't worry Kagome, I've got you."
Now crying out of love, hate, and every other emotion that Kagome was feeling was let out.
"Inuyasha I thought that I was gonna die. Don't ever do that to me again."
-sigh- "Don't worry Kagome I don't plan to. I found a little village far from here that Naraku hasn't attacked yet so it is safe for us to live in."
"Won't Kikyo get mad at you for leaving to live with me?"
"I think that you shouldn't worry about Kikyo right now we just need to get away from Naraku."
Agreeing with him she made no sound as he carried her to the village. He let her down and asked, " Do you mind that we will be living her instead of a big village like your place back home?"
Trying not to correct the dog demon she responded happily, "no, no I don't mind as long as you don't leave my side."
Inuyasha gave Kagome a soft tender kiss before carrying her to their new home. To live in, at least until Naraku finds them again.
