Birch's fluffy cream pelt glowed from the fire far below, mild grey tabby stripes decouring her fur. she watched tons of cats far below, all colors and sizes run for their lives. Dogs hurdled after them, the trees set alight, the earth crumbling to bits, her ledgy outcropping left a clear view of it all, her silver-grey eyes took in the flames, she thinly smiled at them. the fae lay down, curiously watching the cats, as they ran, they'd call her cruel, she'd just shake her head and laugh, she found the cats interesting..but, not so up close. She wondered why there was SO MANY cats. Maybe they were the cats from the clan she heard some rouges talking about while sitting on a tree branch. some of the group from the back of the cats dislodged, and came head first into the pack of dogs, smoke covered what was happening, but Birch knew it was ugly. She flicked an ear, a twig snapped behind her. She lept to her paws, her silver eyes narrowed, she let a hiss escape her mouth, her opponent walked out from the trees, his eyes cool, his fur unruffled. He walked slowly, as if, not to disturb the fae. "Hello" he said softly. his voice silky, sweet as honey. The fae remained silent, watching the tom suspiciously. his blue-grey pelt shone in the fire light of the burning forest below as he walked over the length of the ledge. The cool night air of fall ruffled the leaves.."You don't talk much...do you" He murmured, "Not to one i do not know" Birch replied.
