A/N: This is inspired by 'La!' By: Memphis Lupine and also Chapter 5 of 'I might strangle you to death, honey' by MissStubborn
They were out in the hallway by his locker and Jade's back was facing him.
"Babe?"
When she turned around to face him, her eyes were watery and she was all of a sudden very shy and her posture timid. Her shoulders were hunched inward and there was a small smile playing on her lips. As she walked over to him, a soft giggle escaped her lips just before she leaned forward and pressed her lips against his. The moment she pulled away, there was a wide grin on her face and a faint blush on her cheeks. Casting her eyes downward for a beat, she gripped at the collar of his plaid shirt before looking up at him from her long lashes.
"I love you Beck, you always understand me and you're always there for me. I don't know what I'd do without you."
"Uhm," before he could come up with a more intelligible response, she giggled once again and the sound was beautiful, melodic and very un-Jade like.

Beck woke up with a start.
He stared around wildly for a moment only to remember that he was in his RV, on his bed and it was the middle of the night. The hockey game he had been waiting weeks for was playing live on his TV and beside him was Jade, yelling insults at the players.
"What kind of a pansy-ass move was that?! Shove him down into the ice and beat him until he bleeds!"
When she turned to look at him, her scowl deepened briefly before she rolled her eyes and turned her attention back to the screen. "About time you woke up! You know, if you're going to ask me to watch stupid hockey with you, you could at least stay awake for it."
Beck felt a smile turn up the corners of his mouth as the last remnants of the dream faded to the back of his mind. He gave a sigh of relief; just a nightmare.
Seeing the smile on his face, Jade raised a pierced eyebrow before shoving an empty bowl into his chest. "Get me more popcorn."
"Love you babe."
"Yeah, yeah. Love isn't going to get me my popcorn."
A/N: I was literally cringing when I wrote Jade during the dream sequence. Ugh.
This was written mostly as a joke, and partly because I'm so tired of being lured in by decent fic summaries only to find that the story inside has incredibly OOC characters, particularly when it comes to Jade. As much as I also subscribe to the headcanon that Jade only shows her sensitive side to Beck, I don't believe that she turns into a mushy, giggly, fragile, weepy little girl the moment the RV door closes behind them. To me it's more of, she shows him her sensitive side, but only when she's pushed to the very brink, every other time she's about as tough to him as she is to everyone else and that's just how it's supposed to be.
AGAIN, THIS IS NOT TO BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY. I don't mean to step on any toes and neither am I trying to subtly insult anyone. DON'T HATE ME! :((((((( I was just having fun.
