Blue never liked the idea of training in the snowy lands of Mt. Silver. It was more than obvious why one would hate it there. The entire mountain is cold and wet, the floors of the caves within is always damp with nothing but an immense amount of melted snow trickling from the roofs onto the top of your head. Blue shivered at the thought of it, going through his closet looking for his thickest sweater. He didn't understand why his grandpa, Oak, didn't ask of all people but him to collect samples from Mt. Silver. Shaking off the feelings of disgust, he heads out.
It didn't take long for Blue to arrive into the deeper caves. He casually strolls around looking for the stones Oak asked for him to gather, but something caught on in the corner of his eyes; a light. A small one, it seems as if it was a wavering torch or bonfire at the end of the cavern. Blue proceeded towards the flare with caution, with his hands on his pokeball, readying a fight. He knew he wasn't alone. It could be an aggressive wild pokemon, or a hiker awaiting for a battle, or a trainer looking for a fight, or it could be… his eyes laid on the familiar looking charizard, with its tail hovering over someone. "… Red?"
Charizard turns around at Blue but didn't seem to mind his presence. Walking up a few steps, he takes a closer look. Red, completely passed out, with Pikachu wrapped tightly in his arms, both snoring a bit. Crossing his arms, he lets out a mumble, "Tch. What a loser, sleeping in a cave like this." He speaks a bit louder. "Yo! Hey! Wake up." Blue wasn't going to give up on the chance to battle with his old time rival… or the chance to just annoy the hell out of him so he can't sleep. Blue squats down a bit next to the Pokémon trainer, shaking onto his legs, "Comon, wake up." It was obvious he was not going to wake up anytime soon. Blue lets out a sigh, and looks over at Red's exhausted face and fatigued body. Must be tiring, training in a place like this. After a few moments of silence, Blue decides it would be better to take his leave, he places a few repels on the ground for Red to use and begins his walk out. But something boggled on his mind, sighing deeply, he unbuttoned his sweater and covers it over Red. Knowing that Red was still asleep, he mumbles under his breath. "Stop being so careless all the time and bring a coat… And gramps has been talking about you a lot recently, I wish you came back home to Pallet Town more often. He misses you… I missed you…Red." With that, Blue roughly wipes his eyes and starts walking off, waving goodbye briefly to Charizard.
Hearing Blue walk far enough, Red finally sits upright. With a still sleeping Pikachu in his arms, he looks at Charizard with a sheepish smile. "It's been long since we've taken a rest eh? …Let's go back home tomorrow." Charizard lets out a delighted roar. "Ha-ha, and we've got to return Blue's sweater too."
