Stay Up Here, With Me

A/N- This is a Heavyweights fic. Right after Tony Perkins had been captured and the guys were celebrating by stuffing themselves, Pat is sitting with Julie and they are watching the guys celebrating. This is a story that starts with this exchange:
Pat: I'd better get down there.
Julie: No Pat don't go. Stay here with me.
Here it goes!
Pat and Julie were sitting up on the cabin steps and watching the bonfire and the boys and Tim stuffing their faces with pizza and junk food.
"I'd better get down there" says Pat as he stands up. Julie grabs his hand.
"No, Pat. Stay up here, with me." She smiles and gives Pat a wink as she walks toward him.
"Uhhhhhhhh ok." Pat looks down at their joined hand. He loved this woman from the moment he saw her. She was sexy, beautiful, funny, had a good heart and she was extremely smart. He reacted quickly and put his hands on her face and kissed her. He was scared that she would pull away from him and smack him. Instead, he feels long slender arms loop around him neck and so he decides to deepen the kiss. He opens his mouth and tentatively asks for entry with his tongue. He gets it and their tongue battle for dominance. He wins out, even though he never really kissed anyone before. As they pull away for air, he looked into the blue eyes of the woman in his arms, the beautiful nurse who has won his heart and he smiled as she pecked him on the lips. After a few minutes of just staring at each other, Julie spoke up.
"You can go down there now if you want." Her teasing tone tells him he does not and he leans in and kisses her again as she leads him back into the bunkhouse.
