His wavy black hair fell beyond his shoulders loosely, a few pieces swaying in front of his eyes as the slight warm breeze blew past his awkwardly pale face. He didn't much like the breeze unless it was sickening cold, the chills it left on his skin gave him a bit of a high.

His deep-set violet eyes scanned across the village in front of him; he knew what he was looking for, who he was looking for. He had heard about the monk for a while before he took off to find him, he knew he had to find him, to get him to stop his womanizing ways and stay with him. Everything he had heard about the monk only made him want him more, and he knew he had to make it come true, he was truly enamored with the male in question.

He had been tracking him for months and had finally found him in the village right before his eyes, and as he realized this, a smile crept onto his lovely face. He held the jewel of his strange necklace between his thumb and index finger and stepped into the village. As soon as he did the breath was swept from his body in one large gasp and he felt faint, though it all soon came back and he took a deep breath of the village air and sighed in relief as he hid the necklace beneath his clothing.

With pleading eyes he began to look about for the monk, he could feel him nearby, the feeling was strong enough to hurt him a bit, but he couldn't help but find it all too intoxicating. He had trained his body to withstand great amounts of pain so he could be around his treasured male when it came time for him to meet him face to face, it had even gotten to a point where the pain he felt from it was somewhat of a turn on for him, he was looking forward to more.

He noticed others looking at him, mostly males, as he was probably one of the most feminine looking males one would ever see. He didn't mind, considering his fascinations had always been towards males; he could not remember ever wishing to partake in a female, which didn't bother him at all in the long run. He was use to the wandering eyes of other males, not because they were interested in those of the same sex, but because they usually thought he was the opposite sex; though once they heard his deep heavenly voice, they knew otherwise.

After only a few minutes he spotted the purple cloth that was apart of his love interests wardrobe, his precious Miroku. He noticed him conversating with some girls, as he expecting he would be, but he found it as no trouble to his self-esteem about winning him over. He stuck his hand out cautiously, though swiftly taking hold of the males shoulder, "hello, Miroku."

He noticed Miroku's body stiffen, as if he were becoming defensive; though he quickly turned around and their eyes locked for the first time. Draise couldn't help but smile at Miroku, his eyes practically lighting up with joy, "I've finally found you," he thought to himself.

[Author's Note: This is just a secondary story I am doing, Sand Trap will still be my main story until it is finished, then this will become my main story and so on and so forth.

The title of this story comes from the song that will basically give hints about the plot if you choose to listen to it, which is Under My Feet by Celldweller.]
