Face the Facts
The look, one of the few looks that I've never ever wanted to see on my brother's face... and I put it there. The awful things I'd said, they ring in my ears, over and over.
The look flashes whenever he looks at me, whenever he thinks I'm looking at him. It's a look I've been fighting to keep away all my life, a look that breaks my heart.
But my own face hurts as I echo his look. It's so common now. I caused it... we caused it. Two masks of the hardened life over two faces of agony.
