Zabuza felt like his entire life had been sucked down the drain. Like all energy had been drained from him, like he...like he had no purpose. All he could see behind his eyes and in his head was his life before his eyes, and once it stopped, he remained in blackness. His eyes eventually popped open, and he saw the light, and it almost blinded him. He took in a shaky breath, not seeing anything but a few leaves falling above him.

"Zabuza!" Haku's small voice trembled. "Z-zabuza... Zabuza!" He looked over the older man with a feared look on his face. "Oh, god..." His lip trembled, and he leaned his head on his chest. He could hear a very faint heartbeat. He whirred his head back up and gave a fearful look down at the Brunette. "Zabuza, come on, don't leave me... Don't leave me and our child..! Not now!" He shook with fear, deeply unsure of what to do.

Zabuza took in an extremely shallow breath, then let it out shakily. He felt a few leaves fall on his face, then took a shaky hand and brushed them away; he then let his hand fall back down to the ground.

Haku let out a relieved sigh, then leaned down and hugged the man tightly. "Thank God... your alright..." He sniffed, one hand moving down to his stomach. "I'm so glad... that nothing happend to you..." He sniffed again, wipping his eyes slightly. He continued to cling to the man. "Your alright... aren't you?"

Zabuza nodded slightly. "I'm...fine..." He winced slightly when a sharp pain rang through his head. "My head hurts, but...I'm fine.."

Haku smiled sympathetically, but nodded. "I'm... I'm so glad your okay..." He hugged Zabuza tightly. "Please don't scare me like that anymore... or our child... okay?"

Zabuza nodded. "I...I won't...I promise..." He attempted to sit up, wincing visibly as he did so. "Are...are you okay...?"

Haku nodded, wipping away more tears. "I'm fine... I was just worried about you is all..." He smiled sadly, happy that his lover was alive and mostly unharmed. That was good enough for him.
