Summary: Alice Cullen's favorite time of day is midnight but she has no one to spend it with. Than Jasper Hale, Alice's high school sweetheart shows up in New York. Alice doesn't know it until Jasper runs into her one night when she is walking downtown. They start talking and catching up. To find out what else happens you have to Read and Review!!!! Midnights Alright

Chapter 1:

The Meeting

I walked down the shadowy streets of Downtown New York City when all of a sudden someone walked by me. We stopped and looked at each other for a second. I thought I recognized him but I must have not known who he was.

After standing there staring at each other with puzzled expressions on our faces, I turned around and started walking. I didn't realize that he was following me until I turned the corner. He was standing right behind me when I stopped.

I looked at my watch and saw that it was nearly midnight, my favorite time of day. I kept walking hoping he wasn't following me, but then I felt someone breathing on my neck. I quickly spun around and saw that it was him.

"Alice?" He said.

"Yes. Who are you, and why do you keep following me?"

"It's me Jasper. Don't you remember me?"

"Jasper? It's you, really you. You look so different."

"Yeah I know I have changed. I'm not that stupid guy I was before. I'm really sorry about high school and everything. I let you slip right under my nose. I didn't know that you were the best thing for me until you left. I regret hurting you and breaking your heart. I'm really, truly sorry."

AN: Sorry you guys I know it's to short but I thought to leave you guys there for the first chapter and see if you guys have any ideas about it and I was at a writer's block deciding what Alice was going to say to Jasper after he apologized.
