and i guess mei-long means "dragon sleep soundly" XD.

disclaimerooni- don't rub it in! I know D':

"This is r-ridiculous." The bundle on the floor shivered and chattered quietly. A figure moved languidly against the fire, preparing something in a low slung pot that hung from the ceiling and over the fire in the centre of the room. The figure against the fire turned to his shivering bundle with a chuckle.

"Not as ridiculous as your sister would be acting if she knew you were sick." The bundle gave an agitated snort and rolled over to face the man in the dark red coat. The man frowned at the face that met his from underneath the bundle of fur and wool.

The face was a pale dull beige, a stark difference from the normal mocha-deep brown. The eyes that sparkled in moonlight like nothing else, were hollow and faded. The sick man's lips were almost as blue as his now dull eyes. The frown deepened with every shiver that the man under the bundles emitted.

"Z-zuko, I'm serious - Look at me," If anything, Zuko wanted to turn away from his sick lover - this was ridiculous. He looked so miserable . . . "I'm a warrior- a water tribe warrior! We don't d-do hypothermia, pneumonia and es-specially not colds!" Sokka attempted a scathing glare, but with the constant shivering he emitted- his lover only got a view at a nervous rat-dog. Zuko tried not to laugh, and managed instead to smile, slowly coming to slide himself under the furs next to the bundled-up tribesman, all the while still balancing something in hand.

As he settled, he held out a cup of something Sokka could only describe as green, mucus-looking and steaming. Catching the glare sent the tea's way, Zuko smirked.

"It's Mei Long green tea- One of uncle's specialties." Sokka only glared at the proffered 'tea' and Zuko's smirk could only grow. "It's not all that bad, Sokka." He reiterated. Sokka gave him a withering glance up through his lashes and sighed.

"Fine," He acquiesced with a grunt. Zuko brought it to his lips before Sokka could lean forward for it and smirked at the little cringe. Sokka gave the tea a sniff before closing his eyes and grimacing into a sip. When he pulled back to hack elegantly, Zuko could not have been more amused and laughed with relief.

"At the very least we know your taste buds are ok, right?" The water tribesman scowled back tiredly.

"That stuff's nasty."

"It'll make you fall asleep fast though." The fire bender insisted softly. The warrior's eyes, dull and tired, scoured the other's. For a moment, Zuko wondered lamely if his lover would start up again until Sokka wrestled his arm out of the blankets and reached for the cup.

Smiling as he watched the tribesman wrinkle his nose into a deep sip, Zuko let his head hit the pillow, all for sleeping and sharing his ever-present body heat while he was at it.

when he slid next to Zuko, Sokka yawned and rubbed into the pillow face down. "Thanks sifu hotman," he grumbled, his face sliding to tiredly smirk up at Zuko. "I do feel sleepy now- and warm."

"S'what I do, Sokka-chan." Sifu Hotman joked back as the now sleeping warrior settled against his chest, a smile embedded in his sleeping face.

Tell me if it sucks D: or if you want to marry it :D (personally, i think i could work on my endings/conclusions whatever . . .)
