This is a story of three guys doing Pokemon stuff.
Each character has type restrictions!
And yes Roy is still a half human half kitsune

Three teenagers sat in the middle of New Bark Town. They were Paige, Cereal, and Roy. The trio talked about various things from video games to books, but the dominant topic was, and you probably guessed it, Pokemon. They chatted about their favorites, but the fact still stood:
They don't have any Pokemon!
Professor Elm, the resident Pokemon Professor, had lost his notes (again) and had given the rest of his Pokemon to others. The trio waited for Elm to bring in some new ones.
BUT THIS WAS THAT FATEFUL DAY
Elm set up the three new Pokeballs he had shipped in; they were brand new undiscovered ones! He dashed outside and saw the three teenagers and called them over.
"Hello, you three! I have a surprise for you!" He called out.
"You aren't going to make us find your notes again, are you?" Cereal called back.
"That only happened twice!" He responded.
"More like thrice..." Roy muttered.
The trio walked on over to Elm's lab to see three Pokeballs laying neatly on his table. Elm quickly pointed to them and said, TA-DA! Cereal gasped and literally flung himself at the table (we all saw it coming) and looked at the little notes under the Pokeballs. They read from left to right;
Cyndaquil
Totodile
Chikorita
Cereal, using his skills of having a brain, took Cyndquil because it was obviously a fire type. He snuggled the Pokeball against his cheek while Paige and Roy sweatdropped.
Roy didn't know which was which, so he randomly chose Totodile. He curiously looked at the little ball.
Paige, having no other choice, picked Chikorita. He rotated the ball in his hand, studying it.
"All right... Send them out!" Elm shouted excitedly.
Cereal sent his ball flying to the ground to reveal a mouse-like creature with it's back being a dark blue and the rest of it a bright tan. It's eyes were closed but it could somehow see. It had flames coming out of it's back. He instantly loved it. Elm interrupted, "Would you like to give it a name?"
"HELL YEAH!" Cereal shouted.
"He's male, so don't name him Suzy or anything..." Elm joked.
"I'll name him Charles." Cereal said, much to Charles' delight.
"All right, Paige! You go next." Elm said.
Paige tossed down his ball to reaveal a light green creature standing on it's four legs; it had a dark green leaf protruding from it's head, and it had maroon eyes.
"It's female; want to name it?" Elm said.
"I'll name it Magnessia." Paige said, petting Magnessia's head. It jumped into Paige's arms and he chuckled.
"Alright, Roy... You go!" Elm said, pointing into the sky.
Roy confidently tossed his ball, releasing a blue creature standing on two legs. It had dark blue ovals around it's maroon eyes, and had red spikes going down it's back and tail. There was also a tan V pattern on it's upper chest. It was also hopping from leg to leg. Roy instantly thought it cute and hugged the little guy, it hugging back.
"Would you li-"
"I'm naming him Kraid!" Roy said.
"He's ma-"
"KRAAAAID!"
The trio sat with their newfound friends and played around with them. Cereal sat and snuggled with Charles while Roy danced with Kraid. Paige sat with Magnessia, reading a book together.
