A/N: My take on Bulma and Yamcha's last break-up before she ends up with Vegeta. Enjoy! :D
A Normal Day
"Bulma, please!"
"No!"
"Bulma, come on! I swear, it was nothing!"
Bulma was at Kame House, running around like a madwoman gathering all of her things as quickly as she could. Master Roshi sat on the couch with his eyes glued to the television set in front of him, pretending to be oblivious to all the commotion around him.
"You're nothing but a jerk, Yamcha," Bulma yelled, throwing her coat on around her shoulders. "A perverted jerk who can't keep it in their pants!"
"Bulma, honey, please-"
"DON'T YOU 'HONEY' ME, YOU ASS!" Bulma gathered the rest of her belongings and headed outside, slamming the door in Yamcha's face as he desperately trailed after her. She pulled a small capsule out of her pocket and clicked it, throwing it to the floor. The capsule exploded, creating a giant puff of smoke. Once the smoke cleared, Bulma threw her items into the passenger seat of her flyer. She climbed into the driver's seat and started the flyer. Yamcha flung himself at the plane, banging on the window.
Bulma rolled the window down. "Stop before you break it! I will make you pay for it, you fucking asshole!"
"Bulma, come on! Why are you being like this? You mean everything to me! You know that!"
"Oh, I mean everything to you!? If I mean everything to you, you wouldn't sleep with every damn woman you come in contact with!" Bulma turned away from the long haired man to look straight ahead of herself. "You know..." She sighed. "Sometimes I wish I could meet a man who had no real interest in women; yet, he somehow would fall in love with me." She looked back to Yamcha and rolled the window up. She began to lift off the ground, Yamcha detaching himself from the side of the flyer.
He sighed as he watched Bulma fly out of view. His knees dropped down to the sand. Then his fists, followed by his tears. Boy, did he really do it this time. How was he going to get back with her now..? He noted the slight slamming of the front door, but didn't check to see who it was. A soft hand was placed on his shoulder, followed by the other man pulling Yamcha into his chest.
Roshi watched as the two young men sat in the sand, Yamcha bawling and Krillin trying to tell him everything was going to be okay, and that Bulma and him would get back together, like always, and Yamcha was shaking his head and telling Krillin "No, no, we'll never get back together, it's over for good between us both". To be blunt, Roshi got quite a kick out of it. He finished half of his cigar and rubbed it against the side of the doorway, putting it out. He proceeded to walk back inside, back to the television, back to Oolong, who was also watching T.V. with the older man, and back to Puar, who was worrying far more than she should have about Yamcha.
Yeah, it was a normal day at Kame House, to say the least.
A/N: Chapter six of Something In The Way is halfway written. Hopefully I'll be getting it up by next weekend... Hope you enjoyed this short fic!
