I got tired of no long fics of these two where Dirk and an actual cherub Caliborn get together, so yeah, I just made my own in the end. So here's the prologue, chapter one is being written as I bloody type out this entrance.

AU; All species live together on same planet, if your are exceptionally gifted in certain arts you go to the academy of insert cool name here and blah blah blah, lets get the story going.

PROLOGUE-

It was around the time the skies seemed to dim and the clouds seemed to vaporize that I first laid eyes on him. The time where I was out with friends and had my facade on. The time where I couldn't voice how much of a conundrum I thought this guy was. The time I couldn't walk up and say hi to the mysterious new student and his twin sister. The time I wished I never saw. But time's like those exist and isn't it up to those who viewed and experienced said time to deal with it as they please? Ignore it, is what my friend Jane said. If I had my guns on me I would clock that man upside the head, is what my friend Jake said. Roxy couldn't say anything really, her face solemn at the sight before them. I just stared, you couldn't tell if I was staring of course, the facade called for no empathy and no mercy or concern.

It was quite the spectacle, when these students left the school. From the shouting that could be heard and saw, apparently the guy and his sister were a few minutes late to the spot where their father would pick them up -something to do with being lost in the enormous school or something. And apparently their father wouldn't have any of their excuses and blew up, vile words and hate spewed from the ever much larger mans mouth, even a few raises of the arm as to mock a smack -or punch. And from the looks on the two's faces, those mock smacks and punches would become ever so painfully real when they arrived at their house. The students around seemed to wander away, wanting to not get caught up in the escalating fight. However after a punch was thrown, from the teenage boy no less, that's when I think it truly started, the father shoved the two children in the car, and drove off, a deathly silence trailing after said car.

While people around murmured about what just happened, some shrugging it off, I merely stood there, staring at the spot that those strange three cherubs once stood. My friends gave me strange looks as I didn't give them any answers, and eventually left, Roxy leaving me a note to tell her if I'm not feeling up to par with my regular 'cool-kid self'' tonight. I couldn't understand why I was so transfixed with what just happened. It confused me, baffled me even. I couldn't understand why that happened, why that man blew up so easy after a few minute wait, and why the children just stood there and just accepted it. And why I even cared.

But I did. And that was that I guess.

Done, this is Dirk's P.O.V. for those who couldn't tell, so yeah, have monkey fun I guess till I post the next chapter.
