Heya!!! I was bored so I thought id write this little fic...and sorry for the delay on all my other stories!!!! I promise I'll get some more chapters up soon!!!!
The rain ran around him in puddles, dripping, soaking, drenching. Cold.
Sayoran looked out among the the city. He watched silently as people ducked, laughing, into stores, homes and under the odd umbrella. He watched as little children ran through the streets, jumping in puddles and as their parents tried futiley to get them inside. He watched the young couple across the street, holding hands as the girl laughed delightedly, and the boy smiled gently. One experience he would never have.
Hearing Sakura say those words to him broke his heart. "Who...who are you?" She asked. Those three words...his world shattered into a million pieces. He knew that it would happen. The witch told him so. But even then, somewhere in his heart he had hoped. Hoped and hoped she would remember. He smiled sadly, his fists clenching.
He thought back to the times under the blazing desert heat. Where it never rained, but everyone was so happy. Just...so happy. Where he and Sakura had shared so many precious memories. Memories he had never really thought of, memories he took for granted. Never again. It would happen never again. No matter what miracle might happen, times like those were in the past, and would never come again to the future.
It was foolish to think of memories that would only hurt him more. But he did. He remembered the adventures they had had, climbing up to the roof of the bird house against the king's wishes; seeing the doves flutter around Sakura made his heart shudder. So beautiful...running through the streets of her kingdom, eating apples together...her smiling face. A tear ran down his face, followed by many more. He buried his face in his arms.
The rain ran around him in puddles, dripping, soaking, drenching. Cold.
Now, I would really appreciate a couple of reviews!!!!!!! My first fan fic on Tsubasa...
