Kiku Honda was frantically looking for his dog. His small, white, fluffy dog was missing, and he was very anxious to get him back.
"Pochi kun!" he called into his yard. "Pochi kun!"
He moved out from his house and into the street, calling his dog's name, jogging around in his sandals, clutching a towel.
"I have to find him before he gets here," he thought frantically as he kept calling his dog's name, scanning the streets.
Arthur Kirkland was greeted by a small, white, fluffy dog, staring up at him in his "srsbzns" face, eyebrows furrowed, and mouth in an upside down V. Arthur almost laughed out loud upon seeing his face. He picked the dog up, chuckling.
"Hello, Pochi," he said, trying to keep down his laughter. "Where is your master?"
Pochi stared into his face for a few moments, then hopped out of his arms.
"Hey- wait! Where are you go-…" Arthur stopped, starting to hear what Pochi was hearing. He watched in silence as Pochi ran to the corner of the street, tail wagging, and heard a voice exclaiming, "There you are!"
Kiku rushed up to Pochi with his towel, and began to rub it in his face, kneeling down.
"I'm sorry for playing with you," Kiku apologized while rubbing. "I have to take these off before he comes… oh dear… why are they not coming off…"
"Are you sure you didn't use permanent marker?"
Kiku jumped at the voice as he slowly raised his head looking up into Arthur's grinning face. He blushed furiously, still trying to rub ink off Pochi's face.
"That wasn't supposed to be me, was it?" Arthur asked, picking up Pochi to save him from Kiku's embarrassed wiping. "Because my eyebrows don't look like this."
Kiku's face turned scarlet in embarrassment.
"I-it-wasn't…I…" Kiku stuttered, standing up. He wrung the towel in his hands, staring down at it.
"It's okay," Arthur chuckled, gently taking hold of Kiku's chin so he could raise it up. He kissed his forehead lightly. "I missed you, too."
Kiku smiled, his face still in a heavy blush. "Welcome home, Arthur san."
