And nothing anyone could say would stop him.

He would strangle the life out of him without a second thought to the matter.

Why, you ask? The answer you would get would be that the fucker known as Sephiroth, was touching his Cloud. That was unacceptable, and it was even more so when that bastard knew exactly what he was doing.

Leon hissed out a breath of air that had been building up, hoping to release some tension caused by Sephiroth touching what was his. Seeing them laughing together, while Sephiroth held hands with Cloud in the pretense of friendship was too much, since Leon knew it was more then friendship that Sephiroth wanted.

Flashback

"What. Do. You. Want?" Leon growled out.

Sephiroth had requested that Leon meet him at his place for some lunch. While Leon knew that was only a hoax, he had still been curious. When he had arrived, he had been dragged into the house and slammed against the wall next to the door.

After that, Sephiroth had leaned in until their lips weren't even a half inch apart. Then he had moved his lips to Leon's ear, then he waited a few seconds until Leon growled out his question.

"I want Cloud, but you're in the way. So I wanted to tell you to back off or else"

"Or else what?" Leon questioned.

"Oh, I don't know" Sephiroth drawled as he nipped the lobe of Leon's ear "I think I can come up with a few things"

Leon couldn't help himself, he shuddered.

End Flashback

Leon had gone home that day a little spooked, but no worse for wear. He had at first resisted Sephiroth's attempt at intimidation, but then the small mental and emotional, sometimes even physical attacks kept coming.

At one point, Sephiroth had even threatened Cloud, and that had been what really caused Leon's troubles. He had started to visit Cloud less and less, and soon went and spent time at the Dalmatian house often. The third district had become the grounds for target practice, using heartless as targets. Cloud had realized and had started to spend more time with Sephiroth. So here he was, watching in the background as Cloud and Sephiroth made new memories.

Before Leon closed his eyes to take a nap however, he saw Sephiroth lean over to kiss Cloud, and saw Cloud push Sephiroth back.

'Maybe there's hope after all'
