Why was it so important? Besides the obvious of course. What drove his desire to save her and him?
She was the love of his life, but he seemed more desperate for the other. Odd images flash through his mind. Red hair, and green fire. They're not his memories. Blonde hair, blue ice. These memories . . . not his, someone else's, that he has no recollection of.
When he finally sees them- vague recognition.
"Have I met you?"
No answer. Not the ones he was looking for anyway that is.
Dirty blonde hair, blue seas, why? An odd ending. Why is it so sad, so bittersweet?
