Disclaimer: If I owned any of the following animes, I would be able to afford a new laptop. Unfortunately, my laptop is broken and I can't get any of my files off of it. I am simply a nerdy teen trying to crossover three of my favorite shows. To reiterate, I don't own Yu-Gi-Oh, Inuyasha, or Yu Yu Hakusho.

I'm way too into crossovers.

Inheritance

Prologue:

Tears Shed, An Introduction

She was crying. Tears were coursing down her cheeks, leaving perfect glistening trails to stain her face. She was a classic Japanese beauty, with eyes of chocolate and skin of perfect porcelain. Her tears were the only thing that marred her flawless complexion.

Hiccuping, the woman shuffled over to the decrepit well, hugging a small bundle to her chest. Her lips quirked up into a wavering smile at the tiny infant within as he gummed the blanket, his tiny, white, eyebrows knit together in a concentrated expression.

She then hugged him tightly, whispering sweet nothings to him before handing him to the child standing next to her.

"Are you sure that you can do a glamour this difficult?" she asked softly, trying to compose herself. The boy nodded solemnly before asking her, "Are you sure you want to do this, Kaa-chan?" The woman smiled sadly, "It's the only way." she answered, "I'll see you guys again one day, one way or another. Please be careful, Shippo. Leave Akira in a isolated village and run. He'll trace you if you don't." Shippo nodded his understanding, his eyes lowered. He had to be strong for Kagome.

The boy set the baby on the ground, a ball of energy appearing between his palms as he yelled, "Fox Magic! Glamour!"

With the infant and himself now nearly unrecognizable, the boy picked the infant up, saying, "I'll take him someplace safe, Kaa-chan. I'll see you in a few thousand years, okay?" Kagome nodded, her eyes watery.

A brand new set of tears streamed down her face as her two children, one adopted, the other her biological child, went through the well, never to be seen again for thousands of years.
