"I'm so glad you called"
"Tom can you meet me by the bridge in the park?"
"Sure. I'll be there in a few minutes. I love you " Tom said but he noticed Sam had already hung up, Tom quickly changed his shirt and applied some aftershave before he combed his hair before he headed out his flat. Stopping at the flower shop on his street, he brought a bunch of Sam's favourite flowers before he headed to the park to meet Sam on the bridge, he could see her clearly as she was on the bridge and he approached her
"Hey" he said
"Hi Tom" Sam replied
"So you wanted to see me" Tom asks
"Yes I did, its not working between us" Sam said.
"What do you mean its not working I know we've had our troubles but it doesn't have to end this way" Tom pleaded.
"Tom don't make this any harder then it already is" Sam said "Was it something I did? Something I said?" Tom asked
"Its not you, its me" Sam said. "Is there someone else?" Tom asked "No of course not I just can't do us anymore i'm really sorry Tom" Sam tells him
"I'm not going to let you walk away without giving me a reason!" Tom protested.
"Tom don't make me say it, theres someone else. I have fallen in love with someone else" and with that Tom's world came crashing down
"Just tell me one thing, tell me it isn't Iain. Please tell me its not him" Tom pleaded, Sam looked at him and Tom's face turned to pure disgust.
'"It is, isn't it, how could you!" Tom said. "He was there for me when you weren't Tom, i needed you and you weren't there" Sam said
"So you went running to your ex how can you i thought you loved me" Tom protested "I did love you Tom i did " Sam said and with that Sam left Tom stood there by the bridge. His whole world crushed around him.
Meanwhile away from the bridge Iain was stood and he smiled when he saw Sam approaching him. and she took his hand and they walked away together...
